00:00Shirt dresses are seasonless staples, and today I'm going to show you just three ways

00:03to really maximize their versatility.

00:16I'm going to use this shirt dress.

00:17It's kind of like your typical work shirt, but made longer, but it's still tailored.

00:21Let's try something fancy to start things off.

00:23I gravitated towards this big skirt because it'll really be able to hide the shape underneath.

00:27I'll finish off the look with a pair of feminine heels.

00:34So this first look is super feminine and fun to wear.

00:36What's great about this is that it doesn't bunch like a normal Oxford might when you tuck

00:40it in because it goes all the way down to my knees, and I love the pattern mixing here.

00:46So I still like the idea of layering skirts over the shirt dress, but let's try to do

00:51it in a more unexpected way.

00:52I'm going to use a mini skirt and see how this textured piece goes over the shirt dress, and

00:57then I'm going to go for something chunkier on the bottom, maybe this booty.

01:04So same tip with skirt over shirt dress, but the look is totally different.

01:08It's a bit utilitarian with the button all the way up to the top and the boots, and I

01:11love the way the hemline is a little bit different with the shirt dress peeking out below the

01:15miniskirt.

01:15It also creates a nice peplum.

01:19So we've done two skirt looks.

01:21I'm going to try something with pants and make kind of a deconstructed suit.

01:24These pants are in the same color family and have this same nice striped detailing.

01:28To make it a little bit more fun, I'm going to go for a crop top underneath and see what

01:32it looks like when I open up the shirt dress.

01:34And I'll pair it with shoes in the same color family.

01:41So it's nice when the shirt dress can add as a top layer, which is what it's doing here.

01:45And even though I'm wearing a sparkly bustier and showing some skin, I feel pretty balanced

01:49out because of the wide leg trousers and the material of the shirt dress.

01:55You can get way more wear out of your shirt dress than just from your average 9 to 5.
