Watch as a woman rescues an injured owl after spotting it being attacked by three crows during a routine dog walk.

Aleksandra Radosavljevic captured the heartwarming rescue in Serbia.

The video follows the aftermath of the dramatic encounter, after Aleksandra noticed three crows repeatedly pecking at the owl as it lay on the ground.

She scares the crows away before carefully picking up the seemingly injured bird to prevent any further harm.

Back at home, the exhausted owl rests calmly in her hands as she gently strokes its feathers, trying to comfort the distressed bird.

The heartwarming was shared online and Aleksandra said: "I was walking my dog when I noticed three crows attacking and pecking at an owl on the ground. I scared the crows away and decided to help the owl because it looked injured."

"I carefully picked it up and brought it home to keep it safe. In the video, you can see me gently petting the owl and holding it in my hand while trying to comfort it."
