Watch as a woman rescues a tiny sea turtle hatchling from a seagull moments before sunrise at Miami Beach.

The footage, filmed by Eva Trubetskaya in Florida, shows the tiny hatchling struggling on the sand as a seagull attempts to eat it.

Eva quickly intervenes and manages to scare the persistent bird away before gently picking up the sandy turtle and carrying it towards the water. She carefully places the hatchling on the wet sand at the shoreline and watches as it makes its way towards the ocean.

Moments later, the tiny turtle disappears into the waves and begins its journey out to sea as the sun rises over the horizon.

Eva said: "Hopefully the turtle will grow big and famous and will remember who saved her from the seagull."

The heartwarming rescue footage was shared online. One user commented: "Good job!"
