00:12I saw him at Cask and Flag and a lot of other great fans of the show
00:17and just were there to support the Red Sox,
00:20but also wanted to know about football and football and football
00:23and the Patriots and the Patriots.
00:25So we know Shyam is usually – this is usually his lane,
00:28so I'm jumping into it a little bit.
00:30ESPN did a ranking of the top teams with the 25 and under core
00:37and the Patriots were number one on that list when it comes to talent,
00:41which I look at this Patriots team and go, all right,
00:44so if you look at your 25 and under talent
00:47and you're one of the best teams in the NFL
00:49and you're coming off of a Super Bowl and some of those players,
00:53we know Will Campbell, obviously Drake May, Christian Gonzalez,
00:57let's pay that man his money.
00:59But other guys I look at is like Jared Wilson, who's going to be moving to center,
01:02Travion Henderson, who's part of that list,
01:04who I think is going to have a big role this year.
01:06And you've got this young core and this team is coming off of a Super Bowl loss.
01:12My expectations, and I think a lot of people want to know,
01:14and I think a lot of people feel great about the Patriots heading into this season
01:19because they're well ahead of what we all expected.
01:23I think a lot of us expected, all right, maybe they're fighting for a playoff spot last year
01:28and they went well past our expectations.
01:33And this year I think we look at it where I think this team,
01:38AFC-wise, should be back in the AFC Championship
01:41because of part of having that young talent and having a very good veteran team
01:49but also having a great coach, adding A.J. Brown.
01:52So when people are kind of thinking about what should be my expectations for this Patriots team,
01:57I think it's AFC Championship.
01:59I know you don't put a lot of stock into what happens at camp from an observer point of view.
02:08Like what we can see.
02:09But what are a couple things that you are most interested in paying attention to starting Saturday?
02:15Well, I know that Meg is supposed to be down there and she's going to hopefully chime in with us.
02:20I told you, for me, I want to see how they're utilizing A.J. Brown.

02:25That's the main thing for you.
02:26That is the main thing for me is because I feel confident and good about Will Campbell, right?
02:32Will Campbell, we really won't get a good idea of him until he gets back out there for regular season

02:40because I thought he did well until the injury.
02:42So I feel good about him.
02:44Drake May, I think there's Drake May.
02:47Another year on the Josh McDaniels belt.
02:49What type of – does Josh let the leash out a little bit longer and say,

02:57You can audible, you can do what you can – you've got a little – the leash is a little

03:27I mean, that's always a worry, especially from the quarterback position

03:34I just get worried when it comes to Drake May and some wet balls.

03:40And with him having the ball in his hand all the time,
03:43I think he just has to be smarter and not as reckless.
03:48When you're talented, sometimes you try to play a little bit above yourself.
03:52We see Josh Allen do the same thing, and he's one of the best quarterbacks
03:55in the league, Patrick Mahomes.
03:57You could do a little bit more, and at times you get a little bit loose
04:01with that ball.
