00:03Yesterday, if you guys did not see it, the Heat accidentally posted a press conference
00:13scheduled for Monday with LeBron James and then quickly tried to make it private, but

00:23This was to Anthony Chang, quote, it was a mistake by the Heat.

00:28It's his explanation that he got.
00:30He said, it was a mistake by the Heat's social media department while preparing for the
00:34possibility of LeBron picking the Heat, but there's no validity to it right now.

00:44That was the only strange thing that happened on social media yesterday with the Heat that
00:49I found interesting.

00:56So Damian Lillard yesterday got upset at a tweet and it was a video.
01:05It was at a tweeter, a major pass-ins who does work for SI heat on SI and five reasons

01:14He's got about 9,000 followers.
01:16Um, and it was him commenting on the Damian Lillard or excuse me, on the Davion Mitchell,
01:27Yanis Antetokounmpo workout.
01:31And he posted Davion doing what Dame wouldn't even do.
01:41And now this is actually, I think what ends up happening, he's saying that he's joking,
01:46but I will say this has been a very common thing that I've seen over Bucs Twitter before
01:52I got, uh, before I got, you know, knocked off of Twitter and locked out of my account.
01:57I had seen a lot on the for you page, a lot of Bucs fans who are salty at the
02:04idea that
02:04Giannis a worked out already with bam on a bio and B was going to work out with Davion
02:11Mitchell.
02:13So I guess, and I wasn't up on this cause I was furious.
02:16Damian Lillard went to the Milwaukee bucks and was traded to the Milwaukee bucks.

02:20Probably one of my favorite non heat players.

02:24So, but we know that the, the arrow with the bucks was not great.
02:29He didn't want to be there.
02:30Uh, where was he didn't work out a lot going into that season?
02:33Cause he was afraid of getting hurt.
02:35Um, he was going through a divorce, I believe at the time.
02:38And again, he didn't want to go to Milwaukee.
02:40He wanted to be in Miami.
02:42And so, um, that obviously ended up being a, uh, that ended up being a bit of a challenge
02:50for him.
02:52So anyway, so major pass and makes this joke that he says it's a joke on Twitter.
02:59He was making a joke, but Damian Lillard didn't find it funny.
03:03Because Damian Lillard probably seeing a lot of those comments throughout this, of all
03:08the bucks fans, ripping him, Damian Lillard commented on that tweet and said, LOL MFs don't
03:16want Dame to tell it.

03:23And I was like, Whoa, what does that, what does that mean?
03:28So like what happened?
03:31That seems to me like there's some kind of saltiness slashed rifty rift with Dame and

03:46Was that like, it seemed as though maybe Giannis wasn't so welcoming to Dame joining the bucks,
03:53which doesn't seem like it would make sense.
03:54I know that, uh, you know, it was said that, you know, Giannis didn't love losing like Drew
04:01holiday, Chris Middleton, all this stuff.
04:03And look, the bucks really tried everything they could to keep their window open.

04:10Uh, but ultimately it blew up in their face because drew holiday went and he won a championship
04:14with the Celtics.

04:15Like it, it did not.
04:16It was, it famously did not work for them trading for Damian Lillard.
04:21Um, but that's kind of interesting because I was thinking in all of this, like, well, I
04:29don't know if you guys see what's going on in Portland right now, but their owner real
04:32cheapskate, he is, uh, the owner of the Carolina hurricanes as well, but there's also some talks
04:37that he may try and relocate the team, which did make me think, Oh, could we have a potential
04:44Damian Lillard second act attempt right down here in Miami?
04:49Like it was supposed to be, but I don't know.
04:52This kind of feels like it's not there.
04:53Cause it doesn't seem like him and Giannis are that cool.
04:55At least that's the way I'm reading into that tweet.
04:57I don't, I don't see what other, like what other theory is there other than the fact
05:03that him and Giannis just don't get along.

05:07Why wouldn't they get along?
05:09I mean, I know it seemed like Damian Lillard was miserable being in Milwaukee and who could
05:13blame him, but it is interesting that a move they tried to make with him and Dame, which
05:21did not work out.
05:22And then they, of course, Dame tears his Achilles and they wave and stretch him to bring in
05:27Miles Turner and all that type of stuff, which is in a lot of ways, I hate to feel this
05:32way,
05:32but it is the way that I feel.
05:33I'm only a human is, you know, the bucks deserve this.
05:37I mean, they should have never stuck their beak in the Damian Lillard business.
05:39That's why they lost Giannis.
05:40Well, I think this thing, like one could argue that Giannis not like that was the, that's
05:46ultimately the decision that led to Giannis wanting to leave the bucks.
05:49Yeah, in a way.
05:51So it was like a butterfly effect situation.
05:54So I think at that point, like Giannis probably could potentially could have put some blame
06:00on Dame in that situation and he didn't stay healthy.
06:05And because he was probably a little remiss that he ended up with the bucks because it
06:10wasn't a place that he wanted to end up in.
06:12And he didn't, you know, do workouts with Giannis and he maybe wasn't, you know, enthralled
06:19in the, in the day-to-day of the team in that sense, especially in the off season when he
06:25got traded.
06:26Could that be why Giannis, you know, had maybe turned his nose up to him?

06:34One can only infer based on what was said.
06:37Cause what else, like at this point, Dame, like why would he feel the need to talk badly
06:43about the bucks?

07:32point they, and it was tough to believe.

07:38But it did seem like at the end of things, he was kind of throwing a lot of stuff against
07:43the wall or his camp was throwing a lot of stuff against the wall.
07:45Cause I think at one point they said he was upset that Damien Lillard got waved and
07:48stretched.
07:48Like he didn't want that.
07:49Maybe that was cause he just, he didn't think the bucks were into something desperate.
07:52And he wanted to, uh, and he wanted to leave, but I, but I feel like I remember something
07:58about him being upset about the way it ended.
08:02Um, but I'd have to look back at it, but I, I, I didn't think that he was pleased because
08:08obviously it blew up in the face and the Celtics ended up winning, but not that there was a
08:12personal riff there.
08:13I didn't think that I don't see anybody really disliking Damien Lillard.
08:17He seems like one of the most likable guys on the planet.
08:19I think it's also like was, I personally think it's probably just that Damien Lillard was
08:24collateral damage in that whole situation with the relationship with the bucks between
08:28Giannis and the bucks.
08:29And like I said, I think we could go back to that and, and, and realize that that's
08:34probably the decision that ultimately led to the demise of Giannis's time with the bucks.
08:40So maybe Damien Lillard was just collateral damage for Giannis at that point in, you know,
08:47like, I mean, we all talked about Giannis's body language and attitude towards the end
08:52of his time with the bucks.
08:54He wasn't happy.
08:55It was very clear that he wasn't happy.
08:57Um, you know, we speculated that he was making up injuries and, and sitting out of games.
09:03So who's to say that, you know, Damien Lillard didn't catch some flack in that situation.

09:09I'm sure he didn't grow to like him very much.

10:27And it seems like they did him a solid because they teamed up with Giannis.
10:31So you can't be accused of sending him to a bad location, but it's not where he wanted

10:37But I did find that interesting and also may have taken away the option of Damian Lillard
