00:00Yeah, the day's been great. We've had a little bit of dicey weather, but it's settled down now.
00:04Here at the central venue at Keith at the showgrounds, we've had 45 studs on display.
00:09We've had a couple who were coming, but due to weather and a few other concerns,
00:14weren't able to be here. And then we've had three studs on property. So yeah, 48 studs all up.
00:21It's been a very busy day crowd-wise. I would say it's the biggest crowd we've ever had in my
00:26time.
00:27So that's 26 years here in the southeast. And yeah, it's just been really, really positive.
00:32A lot of good positive sentiment around with lamb prices, mutton prices, bull prices all being at all-time highs
00:39or very close to.
00:41So yeah, it's been an amazing day. It's been very successful.
00:44This time last year, we were in the grips of an absolutely horrible season. A lot of the state was
00:50in drought.
00:51This year, just add rain, which we've had a fair bit of. Yeah, there's a lot of positivity out there.
00:58Sale results will be very solid. Clearances still might be a little bit of an issue due to reduced view
01:05numbers.
01:05Due to the previous two years, there was a lot of downsizing of flops.
01:10But hopefully, you know, people are that positive with the quality and the livestock that they're going to be looking
01:15to purchase
01:16to improve their bottom line and the money that they'll make with their meat and their fibre.
01:21Yeah, I think the sales will be very, very good.
01:24And, you know, commercial producers have been really talkative, really upbeat.
01:28And, you know, looking forward to actually sheep again because the prices have just stabilised at such a high level
01:36that, yeah, everyone can see a lot of Merino sheep again.
