00:00Hi, I'm Paula from the Stock Journal here at the Lamaroo Offshears Sale
00:04and we've got 8,000 sheep and lambs on offer
00:07and they'll be some of the best sheep and lambs you'll find anywhere in the Mallee.
00:12510, 12, 512, I bid 512.
00:17One last one to go and I bid $512.
00:21Bidding, finished no further, sold them elders at Mount Gamia.
00:27Yeah, overwhelmed really. We far exceeded what I was thinking we were going to see today.
00:33Did you have an expectation in mind when you came today?
00:36I thought it would be really nice to get the 450 mark and the rest and then
00:40Janet just rallied and it was good. It was pretty daunting in the first pen starting the sale,
00:45knowing what was going to happen. It just went and kept going and it was just a fantastic result.
00:53Exceptional young ewes all the way through, just standing in the pen of a top price ewes here,
00:58$512 on behalf of Lampater partial RM&S Pocock. I think it might be a new state record.
01:05But yeah, consistently the whole way through in the 400s, high 400s and didn't come off much.
01:10We had a couple of pens under 400 in the one and a halves and then through to the breeding
01:13ewes was that was red hot as well. So the quality of sheep from start to finish was just A1.
01:20I've never seen anything like it. Just absolutely outstanding lawn up the sheep here today and
01:24I tell you like it's just a credit that what the Mallee can do and it's great to show
01:27you know everyone what's happening out here and it's brilliant.
