Transcript
00:00The overall winner goes to Old Astros, Nick Waddo and Kate.
00:05Well done.
00:07And I'll ask Ben, wherever it is, to say a few words.
00:10Thank you, Ben.
00:11I've done a fair bit of judging and that would easily be the hardest class the sheep I've come across.
00:18And when you all do come up to have a look, please come and have a look at these sheep.
00:23That was splitting hairs up there, but there's some terrific sheep right through that line.
00:28And these are in no particular order.
00:31He was tough enough to pick the first one, let alone go right through.
00:35The first ram, Old Astros, it didn't matter.
00:39Every time we looked down the line, he was standing, proud, great neck extension.
00:44And he's just presenting himself.
00:46And it was really hard to ignore.
00:48It's a nice, white, bright, well-nourished wool.
00:52And congratulations.
00:53He's a good sheep.
00:54Well done, Nick.
00:57First place went to Rob Patterson from Greenfield.
01:01Put your hands together.
01:03And I'll ask Ben to say a few words.
01:05Thank you, Ben.
01:06Standing here looking at the line, the green-up pair there, they just have so much presence.
01:11That yew is rather special.
01:15And it takes a thumping ram to be able to put beside her, and he's a cracker.
01:20Just look for any impurities again.
01:22That will check their bites right.
01:24Come down, you'll open wool up on the flank.
01:27And then we're looking at their feet.
01:29Making sure there's no colour.
01:32Making sure they're square, walking evenly.
01:35Check the pizzle.
01:37Okay, back feet.
01:39Check the balls again, like we were before.
01:43And then we'll just open that belly wool, mate.
01:47And just, obviously, length, brightness.
01:50And then we'll just open it up.
01:50Let's do it.
01:51And then we'll see you next week.
01:52And then we'll see you next week.
01:53Now we're looking at the kommen.
01:55Bye.
