00:30The Mets were pushing hard for that.
00:32And in their supposed deal for him, Brooks Raley's name was involved.
00:36I think it's one of those relievers because the Mets just have a smorgasbord of options.
00:40It's not like they just have one.
00:42And it's like, oh, we're going to have this insane bidding war where everyone needs the top reliever in the
00:46market.
00:46No, the Mets have like at least four guys.
00:48Realistically, that can be impactful for contending teams.
00:51I was going to go A.J. Minter here because you've got some upside there with his arm as well,
00:55too.
00:56He probably won't cost as much.
00:57Which I think teams that are looking to improve their bullpen is saying, hey, can I get one guy that's
01:02a low-cost arm?
01:03If they're a guy I could then maybe have to give up a high-level prospect for.
01:07They want to try to stack these arms in their bullpen, sort of like what the Mets tried to do
01:11last year, right?
01:12You get a couple of guys at a low cost.
01:13Maybe you go get a guy that's high-cost.
01:15But they're going to try to start.
01:17I don't want to call it bargain basement shopping, but you know what I mean.
01:19They're going to try to do that first.
01:21And A.J. Minter or Brooks Raley, good arms, they're not going to cost you as much as Luke Weaver.
01:26A lot of that also has to do with the contract and the control.
01:29So I think those are the guys you're going to—I'm with you.
