00:00Southern hospitality baby the AFC South CJ Trevor Indiana Jones Cam Ward I'm
00:09breaking it down right now plus one of my close friends from childhood and from
00:14Syracuse Titans legend Keith Bullock is in the house we're gonna talk about our
00:21Little League baseball squad my athletic prowess I could hit ask Keith then we're
00:26going to take on the division shine time starts right now
00:40CJ Stroud does not want you to recognize him
01:14I get a haircut every three weeks we should send the crew to film it's I always feel good Cutler
01:18Salon
01:19it's unbelievable CJ Stroud is changing his appearance in hopes you don't remember him you
01:25don't recognize him after that dismal performance against New England in New England the Texans should
01:31have won that game they could have won that game if they would have punted on third down they would
01:37have won that game arguably the worst playoff performance we've ever seen by a quarterback
01:43ever in the playoffs the numbers are bad look at that four interceptions a quarterback rating of 28
01:50I mean he attempted 47 passes completed 20 if they would have just taken a knee they would have won
01:57that
01:58game New England was giving it away CJ Stroud said ah I'm good that was last year new CJ Stroud
02:07new haircut new season
02:09and kind of a vital one for CJ as everyone in Houston needs to figure out if he's worthy of
02:15a new contract
02:17remember CJ Stroud as a rookie was majestic last two years not so much now the Texans are the betting
02:25favorite to win the AFC South frankly I favor the Texans I would not bet the Texans now when I
02:37say favor
02:38the Texans I think at the end of the day they've got so many elements that are unbelievable D'Amico
02:44Ryans is superb he's one of the best coaches in the National Football League I've known D'Amico for a
02:50long time he's a player with the Houston Texans and he has come in and no surprise he's been able
02:55to
02:55kick ass and take names and change the entire culture for the Houston Texans smiling here no nonsense in
03:02terms of running a tight ship and the accountability and how he coaches I think D'Amico Ryans
03:07unbelievable coach unbelievable dude and his positivity his focus his attention to detail
03:14permeates to that entire organization I think the Houston Texans are going to be a strong team this
03:23year and their upside is to go to the Super Bowl and we talked about this in real time last
03:30year right
03:30the Houston Texans I think of the odds for the odds board the best bet is over on wins I
03:39can't see any
03:41scenario where they don't hit double digit wins because D'Amico's that great that defense is that
03:49special and that defense was good enough to win a Super Bowl last year that was a championship defense
03:54for my money the Houston Texans last year had the best defense in the NFL I've got a vote for
04:00first
04:00team all pro and all the NFL awards and Myles Garrett was my pick for the defensive player of the
04:05year
04:06obviously he won I had three Texans on my ballot of five when you look at that Texans defense and
04:15you
04:15look at Will Anderson and you look at what Stingley brings to the table I mean it's it's absolutely
04:21terrific and Hunter up front I mean these guys they're phenomenal on every single level I am obsessed
04:29I'm impressed and that always goes back to our guy D'Amico Ryan and listen Will Anderson is a special
04:35ball player love everything in terms of what we've seen and Anderson and Hunter and Stingley these are
04:42three of the elite players when you look at defense and this is a brilliantly coached team
04:47now Nico Collins is a superstar and I'm not just throwing that word around if he played for
04:53the Cowboys instead of the Texans I wouldn't have to sell you on that I think and I love that
04:59he was
04:59on Jeremy Fowler's list for the top 10 for wide receivers I actually thought he was too low I
05:05should think he should have been the sixth best wide receiver I think Nico Collins is everything you
05:10want I think they have good depth and when you look at the receiver position David Montgomery
05:14comes in to run the football it all comes back to CJ Stroud if CJ Stroud is good this team
05:22will be
05:23great if CJ Stroud is competent not even a superstar like he was as a rookie the Texans will win
05:31this
05:31division going away but the last two years we haven't seen the CJ Stroud we saw in his rookie season
05:38so I love CJ Stroud at Ohio State loved him the first year in Houston always was convinced that
05:46he would bounce back I think the world of him is a a person I think that he wants to
05:51win more than
05:52anything else proof's got to be in the pudding new offensive coordinator Nick Kelly comes in that's a
05:57huge key to the Houston Texans and their success I'm picking Houston to win the division Houston is my
06:05pick but I'm not and that's going into training camp I always say I don't lock in my picks until
06:12the
06:12Wednesday before Labor Day but going into training camp I slightly favor Houston over Jacksonville and
06:19over the Indianapolis Colts now you have to remember it was Jacksonville who won the division last year
06:25and I think there's a case to be made that they are disrespected and I'll tell you how this works
06:30right
06:30couple of things first of all it's Jacksonville smaller market then of course you have the fact that they
06:35lost in the first round of the playoffs going into that game I said the winner of Buffalo Jacksonville
06:40was going to the Super Bowl I picked Buffalo it was a close game now in terms of an odds
06:44board
06:46bang the over for Jacksonville for wins Jacksonville should be able to win 10 games now I think they
06:53get dinged somewhat in the court of public opinion because of again small market who they are in terms
07:00of that playoff loss last year which kind of resonates to people and their offseason was
07:07quiet didn't have a first round pick made the Travis Hunter deal on draft day a couple years ago
07:11and it's just a nondescript offseason from a nondescript team Travis Etienne left the squad
07:20so it's a different kind of feel now Trevor Lawrence is a star Trevor Lawrence a great player Trevor Lawrence
07:27a
07:27franchise quarterback Liam Cohen the head coach Mr. Duvall himself brought the most out of Trevor
07:32Lawrence last year and I think the arrow is only going up you got to remember again it's important
07:37for this conversation Trevor Lawrence and the Jags were piping hot down the stretch of the season last
07:43year with a real opportunity to make that run in the playoffs their matchup was poor Buffalo beat them
07:50and the rest is history but this defense is really good Travis Hunter has to be a star right he
07:58was
07:58supposed to be the Shohei Ohtani of the National Football League and listen I mean he wasn't even
08:05the Anthony Rendon I mean it was it was a problem I mean and I and I love Travis Hunter
08:11I'm not throwing
08:11random shade I just think you know considering all they gave up and you know he needs to contribute on
08:17offense needs to contribute on defense you know you look at Heinz Allen he's terrific you look at
08:22Walker he's terrific they have a bunch of dogs on defense this team is absolutely capable of making
08:29the playoffs and making a run in the postseason I think Travis Hunter living up to where he was
08:34drafted I think that is supremely important here when you look at it for the Jacksonville Jaguars but
08:41I right now by a hair would go Houston Jacksonville both teams hitting the over when it comes to the
08:49win total and then Indianapolis and and honestly I feel like the human emoji when it comes to the
08:56cults a shrug because I will tell you I took the cheese on Indianapolis in the middle of the season
09:03and I rightly destroyed and stand by every word on Daniel Jones as a giant he was terrible
09:09Daniel Jones played really well before he got hurt last year the team fell apart didn't have
09:14the requisite backup we all know what happened you know if they had to bring a fill of rivers in
09:17Daniel Jones is currently as we speak we'll see what happens on track to start week one if he's ready
09:24to rock and roll listen Daniel Jones should be able to play like he did last year when this team
09:30was
09:31eight and one when this team had the lead in Kansas City I was like you know what they're gonna
09:36be
09:36able to win the AFC they were on track to only making the playoffs they're gonna have home field
09:41advantage in Indianapolis now I think their offseason was weird I didn't understand or like the Michael
09:48Pittman trade at all again and this is dangerous I like the over for the cults as well I think
09:56they're
09:57gonna hit eight nine wins defensive strong coaching strong Jonathan Taylor is an absolute star and I
10:04think he's gonna have another incredible year make sure you get him in fantasy sauce Gardner the former
10:09Jets obviously he's gonna have I think a terrific full season for the Indianapolis cults member they
10:16made that trade thinking they were gonna go for it and bam we saw the injury so I do think
10:22there's that
10:22field going into camp uh man what could go wrong went wrong in the second half and they're certainly
10:29a team that has a lot of really strong players on it I just wonder aloud if the other two
10:35teams in
10:35the AFC South are better and look then we have the Titans and I want to spend the second on
10:41Tennessee
10:42right and Nashville legend Keith Bullock is going to join us in a little bit but here's where I'm at
10:47with Tennessee I think Tennessee is going to surprise some people I think Tennessee is going to be in
10:53more games and win more games than people anticipate say what you want about Robert Sala as the Jets head
10:59coach and I said it I think he's an upgrade I think that Brian Dayball for Cam Warren perfect I
11:06think that
11:07that is going to be a tremendous pairing look six and a half wins is a big number for Tennessee
11:13only one
11:13off the pace if you look at it for the Indianapolis cults I would not be surprised if they won
11:19six
11:19seven games I like what they did with Tate's I was surprised in real time but you catch your breath
11:24and
11:24you say all right that makes sense I loved Cam Ward of Miami loved him as the number one pick
11:30and I think Ward and Tate are going to be a great combination you know I think they did a
11:34great job
11:34bringing in Robinson they can run the ball with authority Jeffrey Simmons is an absolute stud
11:39I wouldn't bet on the Tennessee Titans but I will tell you we start getting into our NFL picks
11:47against the spread during the course of a season which is always fun we'll pick games every single
11:52week best bets picking everything you need for an NFL season on a football Friday I bet I take the
11:58Tennessee Titans to cover in a lot of games or Moneyline upset special because I think Sala is the
12:05right guy at the right time I love day ball as an offensive coach and an offensive mastermind
12:12and I think he's going to be terrific for Cam Ward and I think Cam Ward is going to have
12:17a terrific
12:18second season like you're looking for a backup quarterback in fantasy this is the guy I people
12:25forget he went number one in the draft you know think what could go wrong went wrong I mean Callahan
12:30got
12:30fired Mike McCoy I mean no one even remembers he was the head coach for a period of time he
12:34was the
12:34interim the organization sloppy they've been a mess I think they righted the ship in the offseason so
12:41I'm not telling you in any way shape or form to bet any overs or make any I wouldn't I
12:47would bet any unders
12:48either on the Tennessee Titans but I'm telling you the former New York coaches who are now in Tennessee are
12:55going to make a major impact on the Tennessee Titans so I'm telling you remember the Titans
13:04joining me right now to discuss the Tennessee Titans and the rest of the AFC South none other than my
13:10childhood friend former Tennessee Titans all pro and the host of Bullseye View new weekly episodes on
13:17YouTube every single week my guy the great Keith Bullock KB it's good to see you man thanks for having
13:24me I'm digging the studio looks great doesn't it yeah I happen to be in New York and I get
13:29to come
13:29through this is awesome I know Nashville is home for you but I know that New York is also home
13:34as well
13:35Syracuse obviously we went to college together grew up in New City together played Little League
13:40together Little League Babe Ruth prep too does it by the way can we tell that story quickly well first
13:45of
13:45all Babe Ruth okay when we were 13 New City Phillies won a championship champions champion you played
13:52short I played first we're the all-star team together team each fish kill that's right living
13:57the dream Utica Utica Utica New York baby lost the first game yeah double elimination won every game
14:04after every day and then lost the final game and then you know that's just how it goes sometimes but
14:11that's when I feel like baseball is the purest when you're when you're young and you're playing and
14:17then you make these all-star teams and you play with you know other guys around the league that have
14:23been on other teams obviously you know my baseball skills wore out pretty soon after that well let's
14:30get into that to give you another salary right I mean you want to let's do it so we're 15
14:35years old the
14:36following year so 15 years old and they take 19 kids on the all-star yes they have to cut
14:41it down to
14:4115 and the other foreign that don't make it become alternate alternates so you're pretty much not on
14:48the team you're not on the team not on the team so you go from all-star to not all
14:51-star and they tell
14:53me when I say something that's not right they changed the rules where it went from New City to Clark's
14:59to expand the rosters because they thought they were making a run to the 15 year old Babe Ruth World
15:05series they thought they were and then two of the four cuts these two guys right here and they did
15:12it
15:12like you played in the NFL they did it publicly they called us out on the field yeah I'm crying
15:17you put
15:17your arm around me then the team that was ultimately the roster lost the first two games
15:23eliminated they lost the first two games and then um I actually got a call to like to come by
15:29then I was
15:29playing aau basketball man I'm not taking you know second fiddle but um that was really the last time
15:35I played baseball um with that team and it all worked out we did okay yeah you know but we'll
15:44never
15:44forget that I I always say that's the only team I ever got cut from I mean who cuts Keith
15:50Bullock I
15:51mean my goodness who does that I was an alternate but you might as well be cut I mean we
15:55felt like we
15:55were kind of like you know we still had friends on the team but kind of rooted against them at
15:59the
15:59same time I mean you know justify that we should have made it by the way just tell the audience
16:03I
16:04could hit yes contact always and I never don't recall you striking out contacts always gonna put the
16:11ball in play slap hitter that's right left left left yeah there you go and can go opposite field I
16:17remember that about you too it only we only played till 15 but we played in some real intense baseball
16:23up
16:23there rock it was fun it was a lot of fun and then of course we went to Syracuse together
16:27and I'll tell
16:28that story um so I'm getting an interview you know the way they did it at Syracuse um you go
16:35to your
16:35locker they say oh you have interview and it's in the cafeteria and I go I don't know why I'm
16:40getting
16:41interviewed I'm not playing yet at all um and I go in the cafeteria and I see Adam sitting there
16:46and
16:46I'm like oh hey Adam what's up what are you doing here he's like uh I'm having an interview with
16:51you
16:51and I was like oh snap and it was very professional then at the time so um it's always great
16:57to see you
16:57uh Pete Thamel yeah like um there's a bunch of guys um Scott Hanson there's a bunch of guys that
17:03went to Syracuse and that I remember just from being on campus and you know um them starting out and
17:10to
17:10see them thrive now I love that and listen Pete's still one of my close friends one of my best
17:14friends
17:14from college and it's interesting I try to explain this to the kids like the years we were there
17:19Syracuse was phenomenal I mean the years you played the four years I was in school you were
17:24there for five as a red shirt Donovan was our quarterback for four years every game mattered
17:28and then that's how you would you know well you start to see if you have a quarterback on a
17:34foot
17:34like a football and football if you have a quarterback that's capable like you always have a shot like at
17:39Syracuse we always had a shot with Donovan McNabb we started one and three one year and then we
17:45made it to the Fiesta Bowl so I like the fact that I had an opportunity to play for you
17:51know a top 25 top 10
17:53school um in college that was a great experience and we had the experience of our basketball team
18:00freshman year going to the championship game I try to explain that as well I mean we made the tournament
18:06obviously every year but our first year on that was amazing that I mean that was energetic it was
18:12unbelievable John Wallace Jason Topola Otis Hill it was incredible yeah John Wallace um I always tell
18:18him when I see him man like um he was the big man on campus then and it just kind
18:24of like as a redshirt
18:26freshman not really knowing what collegiate sports was about it's like oh all right I see so John Wallace
18:34John Wallace knew how to be John Wallace on campus oh yeah he came into the um came into the
18:39bar with
18:40the net running around his neck oh yeah everyone I feel like everybody saw John Wallace that night
18:45everyone knew it no question you feel comfortable you feel good about Syracuse basketball Jerry
18:51McNamara getting back to a certain level um I do I like Jerry McNamara there because obviously it
18:57was Bayheim forever um and then look um um um Autry he's from the cloth too but he had a
19:06different
19:06style right um Jerry McNamara he was just at Siena he showed what he could do there and then now
19:13coming
19:13to Syracuse we're excited because we haven't been to a tournament and I can't even tell you how long and
19:19then um you know the lineage like that was the national championship team you know and I think it gets
19:25um
19:26all the Syracuse faithful um especially people our age and a little bit younger back into it you know
19:32gives it belief and Mac definitely gets um all the support and that he's gonna need now hope he gets
19:39some money because the NIL really controls everything changes everything all right now before we get into
19:44the Titans and the AFC South our Knicks I mean we're the same age together I mean how sweet was
19:52that for
19:52you watching the Knicks win man it was it was pretty amazing because it's one thing we've been like when
19:58we were in high school like okay we were good we we Charles Smith I'm glad he didn't show up
20:03you know
20:04what I mean but we've been close before but never gotten over it and for us to even just make
20:10it to the
20:11finals it's like all right you know let's see and then once we come in and like we're competing like
20:16we're on this historic run and then it's like not real until you get to the finals you get to
20:22the
20:22finals and then now you're sealing the deal you know um you're making Wimbeona look like a second
20:28year player um you're you're making you know Jalen Brunson is showing why he is a top player in the
20:35league hitting big shops OG Ananobi you have a lot of players that's why it's a team game and it
20:42really
20:42showed and I love the way these Knicks are trending and we have something to look forward to even next
20:48year because the year before they were just in the conference final so it's not like it's a fluke
20:53they went they got better unfortunately you know new coach but hey we know what's up listen I think
20:59Knicks are absolutely gonna be in the mix again oh yeah always gonna have that one so no matter how
21:03it
21:03plays out it doesn't matter we're good yeah they can have the next four we're gonna compete but we got
21:09our one that's what matters that's what matters I mean we we don't forget what happened in the 90s
21:13then after that let's get into the Titans you like the Robert Salahire I do I do um I like
21:19him over like
21:21because I think um Harbaugh was kind of in the mix but not really they threw his name out there
21:25I like
21:26Robert Salahire because he's been places where he's won uh he came to New York he didn't do too well
21:32he had
21:32some success you know his defense played well um but it's hard to the Jets man you know no disrespect
21:39it's a Jets yeah you know and you hope he learns and you have to believe that he will he's
21:43an excellent
21:44defensive mind and then you go back and you get with Kyle for a little bit Shanahan so now it's
21:49like
21:49okay this is you can kind of see what you didn't do and maybe you would do differently and then
21:56now
21:56you got this opportunity and I like um Brian Dable higher you know because he was just a head coach
22:01they both were in New York where the media is a frenzy you know it's fanatic whereas Nashville it's a
22:09little more you know passive it's not as yeah yeah um so I think they can concentrate on football more
22:15you know not everything that comes with it and then Gus Bradley our defensive coordinator we'll see
22:20what that does but Salah said he's calling the defense which I like yeah and I do like Gus Bradley
22:25and I love Dable and I'm a huge Dable fan I think he's a great offensive mind and I think
22:29he's
22:30excellent with athletic quarterbacks yeah I think he was great with Josh Allen great some way shape
22:36or form maximized Daniel Jones great yeah he did great I think he did great with with um Jackson
22:41Dart yeah you know it shows that like Jackson Dart what the Titans didn't look like um in the first
22:48half
22:48of the season they didn't look like like a full football team like meaning like okay you get three
22:54first downs and then you have to punt or they always had like some type of um dysfunction um in
23:02the
23:02beginning of that uh season uh with Callahan whether it be he didn't know the call or he didn't you
23:07know
23:07so it kind of made things sputter um who was the interim um that took over I'm brain farting right
23:16now
23:16um for uh for Callahan Callahan um who's the coach after Callahan yeah all right cool yeah well yeah we'll
23:26cut that but nonetheless Mike McCoy wow there we go there we go so so Mike McCoy um got some
23:34type of
23:35structure going you know and then you hear this offseason Jeffrey Simmons saying that you know with
23:41Salah in the room we got someone that's like taking control and you know giving direction so
23:46we'll see I love Cam Ward I love his talent I loved him in college I love the draft pick
23:52I'm not getting
23:53off that taker bandwagon after one year because of all the chaos you described what's fair to expect
23:58with Dayball now in year two um I expect you know some of the same things that you know he
24:05was able to do
24:06with with Jackson Dart you know I think Dayball does a great job of getting his running backs into
24:11the passing game you know you got um Pollard Tajay Spears and uh I believe Singleton from um Penn State
24:18who I'm really excited to see because he's a dual threat running back Tajay Spears has a hard time
24:24staying on the field and staying healthy Cam Ward um we what I would like to see him do is
24:30you know
24:31dial in his accuracy a bit you know he was a rookie things are going to happen things are going
24:35fast his O-line you know he was he was moving a lot back there so uh want to see
24:40him dial in his
24:41accuracy and you know his playmakers need to emerge and make plays on offense for him because you know
24:47not every pass is going to be perfect but you get paid to make plays so we're hoping to see
24:52what
24:52Wanda Robinson done Carnell Tate looked good in shorts you know in mini camp I don't put too much
24:59into shorts like I said I have my cup ready I'm not drinking the Kool-Aid yet but my cup
25:04is right
25:04there but I think that's fair and I want to get into Tate with you because you know I always
25:08try
25:08to do this and take a breath right because I get paid to have informed takes and I figured okay
25:13it's
25:13solid they'll take defense right I take a breath they take Tate I look at it and say that makes
25:20sense
25:20and he's an excellent prospect right so what was your take on that pick um with the number four pick
25:28you got to make something you got to make a splash uh so I think it was a fine pick
25:34it was unexpected
25:35you know um I think people were thinking they were going to take defense with number four but look if
25:40you have the number one pick overall from the year before and your top wide receivers were a kick
25:46returner a special team got you and DK who did a great job and then Alec Iron Manor who was
25:51a rookie
25:52and then you had the tight ends and then Calvin really got hurt you need to solidify that wide
25:57receiver room and get your quarterback some weapons so they did that with Wando Robinson he's familiar
26:03with Dable's system and then Colonel Tate I feel like any wide receiver over the last five six years
26:09almost ever that's coming out of Ohio State is usually uh a pro ready so I think back yeah I
26:16think um
26:16you know you can see some and he looks fluid you know when you see like highlights and things like
26:21that he looks fluid that's why I say I have my cup ready but I need to see it in
26:26pads and you know
26:27when he's getting off the blocks and stuff like that I think Jeffrey Simmons is a star I think he
26:33needs to be well you know what I'm not even going to ask a question I want you to describe
26:37for people
26:37who might not be familiar don't watch the Titans what makes him so great well Jeff you always have to
26:43account for where he is and he has a motor you know a motor when I say that he doesn't
26:49have to come
26:50off the field you see I remember um playing with Albert Hainsworth he was more of a you know he
26:56was
26:566'6 340 so he would have to you know cycle out every three plays every four plays or so
27:02Jeffrey Simmons is 6'5 280 a different body build but the same strength mass and power um and I
27:10know that
27:11gives um offenses and offensive linemen headaches and at the same time he's going to get the double team
27:18so what the Titans are going to need is someone that can beat a one-on-one you know I
27:23Jeffrey gives
27:24you that match he has a he had 11 sacks last year as an interior lineman for a four I
27:29mean a three and
27:30or maybe a four in 13 team so um you know he's one of those guys he's a force to
27:36reckon with and he's the
27:38most I would think you know closest thing to Aaron Donald that we have in the league right now which
27:43is not
27:44exaggeration that's who he is I mean he's that close to being Aaron Donald take us through the
27:49ceiling and floor for the Titans this year because I think that their upside especially
27:54people don't realize Callahan was just overmatched yeah like it was a bad hire he just did not know
28:00what he was doing wasn't ready for it was not ready for it I think the coaching's in place
28:05quarterbacks there give us upside downside for the Titans this year well I think with the Titans um you know
28:13playing in a small market you're going to get overlooked you know no matter what so I feel I
28:18remember you know you have to have a certain attitude man you know and for them their upside is
28:24as far as Cam Ward is able to take them from the offensive standpoint of quarterback being able to go
28:32out there get first downs make the right throws um not force into traffic you know start showing
28:39that he is getting better and maturing at the quarterback position what he showed last year
28:44defensively uh they're going to need some playmakers to emerge you know uh Robert Salah they keep
28:49talking about his um you know wide nine defense and that's great so they have some young linebackers
28:55um and in gray and then um hill from from Texas who's the rookie and then in the back end
29:03I want to see
29:04with what um Kevin um Winston's going to do as a safety and then they got um uh the corner
29:10from
29:11from um the New Orleans Saints oh yeah that was a good pick yeah I like that pick so those
29:18type guys
29:19and then they got Jermaine Johnson he comes with Salah so those type guys smart right bringing in all that
29:25veteran um knowledge and hopefully they emerge as leaders you know that's the step you want to see
29:30you know guys take uh when they come to a new team on a second deal or they come with
29:36another coach
29:36you got to understand that you know you're expected to be a leader you know help learn the scheme show
29:42these younger guys how to be pros in the NFL and get everybody on the same page so I think
29:47they did a
29:48great overhaul but these guys got to step up right away just not on the field but in the locker
29:53room
29:54but more importantly as leaders because this is not a winning culture the Titans don't know how to
30:00win they haven't won since Mike Vrabel was there so the only winner in that locker room is Jeffrey
30:06Simmons because he's a beast let's be right you know what I mean so um with that being said Robert
30:11Salah Brian Day will um those coaches have to get that winning mentality in there and then they just
30:17have to go out there and just be killers on the field I want to get your take on the
30:20rest of the
30:21division and I don't want to hold you to anything until obviously we get closer to September but
30:26little thumbnail sketch because I think the division is fascinating look that Texans defense
30:30is unbelievable could be the best defense in the NFL on every single level they're coached up
30:34brilliantly I don't know what the hell's happened to CJ first year phenomenal he certainly regressed
30:39Nico Collins a stud Montgomery comes in Texans gonna be strong Jacksonville is kind of like that
30:45forgotten team right going into the playoffs I had a great vibe about them thought the winner of
30:50Buffalo Jacksonville is gonna make a Super Bowl run didn't happen for either team but Jacksonville
30:54didn't have a great or robust offseason they're strong Indianapolis there was a moment in time
31:00last year they look like to be the best team in the AFC Indiana Jones how do you stack up
31:04the top
31:04three when you look at um I I think I like um Jacksonville uh to kind of be at the
31:12top of game
31:13just because I know that Liam Cohen is installing culture I actually ran into him casually at a
31:23restaurant during Super Bowl and we just chopped it up about football for a little under five minutes
31:28but one thing I noticed he said was culture you know how how the culture the guys are buying in
31:34and
31:34he's like you don't have to BS them we're just straight up with them and you know that's part of
31:38our culture and then you see in the offseason he brought guys back like Fred Taylor Maurice Jones
31:43Drew Mercedes yeah because it's about culture so that's what I see coming out of Jacksonville so I
31:49won't dethrone them but what you're saying about Houston is huge CJ Stroud just has to not mess it up
31:56you know I feel like as a young quarterback you know he obviously was phenomenal but then in the second
32:02year you know you kind of get a name for yourself you start doing television shows and all those
32:07different things and you forget about the football so I think he just needs to get back to basics
32:12you don't need to hold the ball all day get the ball out hand the ball to your running backs
32:16obviously they had offensive line struggles you know so I'll be fair there and then the Colts
32:22obviously um Jonathan Taylor can't carry it alone phenomenal back once Daniel Jones went down
32:28we didn't really get to see the Colts finish it out but if they come out with the steam that
32:32they had
32:33last year um you know they're in the they're in the mix too and then you know the Titans need
32:39to
32:39you know just figure it out and it's a whole new start for them blank slate so but those three
32:45I'm
32:45going with Jacksonville to win the division again I like that pick all right let's get into bullseye
32:50view a little bit because obviously I've known you forever and you know your childhood your upbringing
32:56you know it's been talked about in terms of you know you know foster care and then you know living
33:01with a different family and then a whole community rallying around you and everything that you've been
33:06through in your life I think that's and I I know you when I watch bullseye view you're such a
33:12great
33:12listener and you get the most out of the people you interview take us through what you want to
33:18accomplish on bullseye view because I'm just look I'm your friend I appreciate it um and I'm just
33:24starting out season two but at first it was more so about um you know me being a business owner
33:31as
33:31well getting in the community talking to people that have businesses and what I do know about this
33:37landscape you just you could do whatever you know because it's digital you know um which is great yeah
33:42I don't have to force in a sports show I don't have to force in things like that and then
33:46I have
33:47you know um conversations with former Titans former players around the league I had a great
33:53conversation with Jared Allen who I became friends with Hall of Famer NFL Hall of Famer and I've been
34:00in their position and I know some of the things that I think about and I just kind of give
34:05them
34:06the opportunity to tell their story differently too it's like we're having a conversation right now
34:11right so um and then I also know what to ask like you know what I'm saying you know the
34:16people also know
34:17what to ask to kind of you know get them to tell a story or get them to say something
34:22that I know
34:23about themselves that they would never say because maybe they're humble or they wouldn't think of it or
34:27however it works man um being able to work with Mike Keith for like 10-15 years you know with
34:34Titans
34:34radio and stuff I learned a lot from him just by working with him and just picking things up and
34:40you know
34:40that's kind of how I was uh as a football player too like um your coaches are going to give
34:46you
34:46instructions but the people that are really good and do things well I always pay attention to you know
34:51what they're doing because they got there somehow so um it's just going to be a continual platform where
34:57now this year I'll expand a little more into um weekly Titans um Titans work just because the fans
35:05are asking for it so now I'm kind of you know letting the fans give their input because I want
35:10them to have interaction I want them to feel as if they're a part of what we're doing at Bullseye
35:16View and honestly you're just going with the flow of life after football you know which is amazing
35:21now before we let you go right because we grew up together you went to Clarkstown North I went to
35:26Clarkstown South but I want to know what was going on in the water at Clarkstown North right
35:31because Adam Rodriguez is one of your close friends CSI Miami among other things yes Tracy Wolfson
35:38yeah I mean speaks for itself in terms of what Tracy does for college basketball and lead
35:43reporter for the NFL CBS yeah Jeremy Garlick Jeremy legendary producer yes for all these incredible
35:49movies high school football team which is crazy Jen Flans produces Jon Stewart show yeah Mark Hale is the
35:56associate sports director here at the New York Post he was a runner in high school you remember that
36:01right and he played he was on your little league team the New City Cardinals absolutely what was in the
36:06water at Clarkstown North you know um someone else has said that before um that they didn't even
36:12grow up um in our area but they just know they put the um dot connect the dots and um
36:18I yo no different
36:19water than you guys had over there maybe just a little bit more ambition Keith you're the best
36:25mayor he says that I got my guy the great Keith book
36:28you
36:29you
36:29you
36:30you
