00:18It's a different kind of day in La Guaira. It's Children's Day celebrations and volunteers from different sectors have mobilized
00:25with one goal, to bring a moment of joy to those who have suffered the most after the June 24th

00:33All the activities are for the children in response to the situation we're going through.
00:40Bringing a smile to the children who need it, at least a hug or a game. Telling them, look, everything
00:46is going to be okay. Let's smile and forget about it for a moment.
00:50Face painting, inflatable mats and games by the seashore. Everything is set up for the youngest children.
00:57And in the afternoon, they have the chance to watch and share the emotions of the 2026 World Cup final.
01:04In the end, the kids choose to enjoy themselves. They want to have a good time and we understand that
01:08bringing them a little happiness is the best thing we can do for them so they can take their minds
01:11off things and enjoy this day that is especially for them.
01:14And not just for the children, but also for the adults and the parents so that everyone can have a
01:18day where they can come together and have a good time. That's what we want to do.
01:22Young and old gather to watch the match just meters from the sea. The fans are divided.
01:28Come on, Argentina, let's go. We Venezuelans are Argentina supporters.
01:38Amid the nerves and shouts of gold, the afternoon above all has brought plenty of smiles.
01:44It was really awesome. And the result?
01:49Whoa, we didn't expect it. We thought Argentina was going to win, but we didn't expect the one nil score.
01:56Are you happy? Yes, of course.
01:58As the sun sets, a voice from one of the stages congratulates those in attendance and reminds them the true
02:05champion here is the people of La Guaira, their organization and their determination to keep moving forward.
