00:00which crypto assets and i'm talking about altcoins specifically will survive the altcoin
00:07extinction right so let's talk about that in this video most art coins may never reclaim their old
00:14all-time highs but that doesn't mean that crypto assets are dead in general across the altcoin
00:20space it just means that capital is becoming more selective the old 2021 style altcoin season which
00:28was built on a kind of a broad liquidity after that covid liquidity injection the retail mania and
00:37kind of a much smaller token universe than what we have now in 2026 right so the structure has
00:44definitely changed here there are millions of tokens now that are competing for attention
00:48the true altcoin rotation pool itself is smaller than what most investors assume right so we look
00:56at etf flows protocol revenue and infrastructure usage kind of suggesting capital is already kind
01:03of sorting the market into survivors and non-survivors the survivor categories look very different from
01:12the old everything pumps kind of a playbook right so the strongest candidates tend to kind of clear
01:20four screens which are liquidity and access the supply discipline external demand and also a category tailwind
01:31which means deep markets major exchange listings etf institutional access lower emissions and real fee
01:41generation buybacks stablecoin settlement rwa activity ai infrastructure demand or durable network
01:50usage uh kind of the themes that are really taking hold and i think this is where a lot of
01:56that uh
01:57capital will be directed to i don't think we can kind of uh expect a largely kind of a broad

02:05altcoin market pump where all of the millions of tokens that exist pump the assets and categories to
02:12definitely watch are you know those so let's talk about some of the assets here a bitcoin obviously is a
02:18monetary base asset this is something that's always going to be as part of the portfolio right so let's
02:24talk about the altcoins ethereum will be kind of that institutional settlement anchor needed in your
02:30portfolio solana the high-speed settlement chain narrative right user adoption a good marketing xrp kind of a
02:40regulated settlement etf rotation asset style tron i think as a stable coin rail kind of a play a chain

02:49is the rwa oracle infrastructure play for sure then you've got hype obviously hyperliquid is a real
02:57revenue generating peptics uh kind of really doing well so i think there's still a lot more upside to that
03:03aave seen as a durable defi lending protocol um and uh athena is uh that synthetic dollar infrastructure
03:13right so then you've got the the ai plays like bit tensor uh which are really kind of uh you
03:19know
03:19focusing on ai scarcity you've got vvv kind of that private ai narrative then you've got uh dpin compute
03:29uh with the render network and uh render token and then maybe on an exchange token side we'll see i
03:36mean
03:37uh bnb maybe as an exchange link to utility token if they continue to innovate uh that could probably
03:44be in the list so this is not really a buy list it's a kind of a survival framework right
03:50because when
03:51we look at the next bull market uh which can still be really really incredible uh it can still create
03:57kind of uh huge winners uh but you know it might not rescue kind of like the long tail right
04:04so
04:04capital is unlikely i think to spread evenly across uh most of the weak tokens it's more likely to
04:11concentrate in assets with liquidity and revenue and usage and institutional access and durable
04:17narratives so i think the question is uh no longer when out coin season right it's uh which assets
04:23survive that uh kind of extinction uh event that we've seen over the last few years in our coin
