00:04My name is Alain Gulamino, I'm from Pacific Optical. We're a Bondi Beach based eyewear label
00:09who specialise in producing premium quality eyewear for an affordable price. Pacific Optical is an
00:14idea conceived by myself and a friend of mine when we were travelling in Croatia. I was finding
00:19back alley eyewear stores and picking up some really cheap frames and then kind of putting
00:23my own lenses in them. A friend of mine saw them and asked me about the frame and we got
00:28speaking and realised there was a bit of a gap in the market. There wasn't much out
00:31there, it was kind of classic, timeless and for an affordable price so we decided that
00:36we'd conceive Pacific Optical and start creating sunglasses. We launched a brand in 2015 producing
00:43unisex sunglasses and soon to be prescription eyewear. We sell direct to the consumer, predominantly
00:50via our online store and through our own physical retail spaces. So a couple of our biggest sellers
00:56are definitely our buckler frame. It's pretty classic, quite timeless and we do it in an
01:01array of colours. Probably the most popular at the moment are our transparent frames. They seem
01:05to just be flying out the door. We source our lenses from Carl Zeiss Vision. We offer non-polarised
01:10and we also offer polarised. They're all fitted with an anti-reflective coating on the inside of
01:14the lens to eliminate glare from the sun. We think it's important to align ourselves with like-minded
01:19companies. Our latest collaboration that we're doing is the Man of Many collaboration pair of
01:24sunglasses which is coming out in the buckler frame. We've done 200 exclusive offers in two separate
