Built for the track. Made for the wrist. 🏁⏱️

We’re taking a close look at TAG Heuer’s new Carrera Chronograph Sport collection, and we have four models to choose from: blue, panda, teal green, and black opalin!

Each shade gets a svelte new case, dropping from 44 mm to a far more manageable 42 mm, with a reduced lug-to-lug and 1.31mm shaved off the thickness. The result is a serious piece of track-ready gear that’s supremely wearable. Paired with the updated H-link bracelet and its tool-free li

00:00What does it take to create the ultimate motorsport watch?
00:02That's the question Tag Courier has asked with its new Carrera Chronograph Sport Collection.
00:06Today, we're going to be looking at one, two, three, four of them.
00:11Off the bat, I'd like to express my appreciation for Tag's updated H-Link bracelet design
00:16and the tool-free link removal system.
00:18It made it really easy to resize the watches in the office and I genuinely appreciate that.
00:23Anyway, onto the watches.
00:24First up, the blue dial with the Sunray brush finish.
00:27It features silver counters and grey minute markings as well as blue lacquer on the pushes
00:31and a blue ceramic bezel.
00:33Plus, this watch comes with a brown perforated leather strap, if you so choose.
00:37Second, there's the classic Panda, an undisputed racing icon which, of course,
00:41sports black counters set up on a silver dial.
00:44Third, Tag's opted for a teal green finish.
00:47Now, this watch was actually my favourite when I first saw pictures of the range
00:50but it's been overshadowed since I encountered them in person.
00:53That title now belongs to the Black Oakland dial.
00:55With its black counters and red chronograph details, it's reminiscent of a racing car's
00:59instruments, which is just really cool.
01:02Each of these watches features a streamlined new case design, where the old 44mm diameter
01:06has been reduced to a more manageable 42.
01:09The lug-to-lug measurement has also been reduced, as has the thickness, by a full 1.31mm.
01:14These reductions make a huge difference on the wrist, resulting in serious pieces of
01:18track-worthy gear that are also supremely wearable.
01:21On the inside, the in-house calibre TH-2000 keeps things running smoothly, with 80 hours
01:26of power reserve.
01:27Plus, you can view the Tag Heuer shield-shaped rotor through the watch's display case back.
01:31So what do you think?
01:32Do you prefer Tag's Carrera chronograph sport models?
01:35Or do you still have a soft spot for the wildly successful glass box releases?
01:39Either way, Tag Heuer continues to stake its claim as the ultimate motorsport watchmaker.
