00:00This thing's 300 bucks. So this is the DJI Neo. 135 gram 4k drone with a single
00:07axis gimbal. So it uses a lot of software to stabilize the image.
00:15It has a follow me mode. You can launch it from the palm of your own hand, land it
00:20back into your hand just by sticking it out and it follows you around. It's
00:24designed for creators, it's designed for influencers to follow themselves around.
00:28You can track cards, you can actually do a lot of things with this drone and it's
00:32300 bucks and one of the main advantages of it is you can do pretty much
00:37everything with your phone. They gave me this thing, I don't even need it. What I'm
00:43gonna use it for, all I need to do is follow myself around basically. So I'm
00:47gonna give you guys a demonstration of how that all works right now. So this is how
00:52you fly the new DJI Neo with just your phone. So when it's not connected to the
00:58RC controller, it sort of goes over Wi-Fi and connects to your phone's Wi-Fi. So
01:04you basically want to walk into this space here, set the pitch with that slider on
01:08the right and then I've got it set to follow. So it should just walk around with
01:13me. So let's see how this goes.
01:16So I'm happy with where I am in the frame here. It's just sitting on the back of the
01:19truck. So then if we click start and then we start walking with it, should start
01:34following me and it is. So let's see how it goes following me from behind as we
01:40walk through the bushes over here because it gets quite tight. We do have a fence
01:44down here. I also want to know how loud it is because it sounds pretty loud to me.
01:52It's not gonna make it through these trees here behind me but let's see what
01:56happens when I turn around. Okay. That's pretty smart. It's definitely doing a good
02:05job of following. See it just back there. And then once you're done with it, once we
02:11get back to the truck, you can land it in the palm of your hand. So here's how you
02:18land it in the palm of your hand. So we're recording right now and you don't even
02:23have to press any buttons. It just lands itself and then you can start it from
02:28the palm of your hand too. So if I hold it out, you center yourself in the screen and
02:35it's tracking me. So it's tracking my head and then it starts following, which is
02:44insane. And it's even smart enough, like if I walk away and then I walk back towards
02:51the camera. It'll, it'll avoid me.
02:55Then we come back to the camera. There it is. And all I have to do is walk up to
03:01it
03:01and stick my palm out underneath it. I don't even have to press anything on this.
03:10That's crazy. So that's it. DJI Neo. 135 grams. 4K footage. You've seen the footage. It's pretty
03:21good. The follow me mode is honestly a bit of a game changer. Hopefully it doesn't sound
03:26too loud on the mics. Apparently the mic can cancel out a lot of the noise. But you guys
03:32let me know. $300 in Australia. What do you think of the DJI Neo?
