00:00We were talking about kids and devices earlier, right?
00:02So there was a period of time where I was like, yes, you can watch YouTube.
00:06But my parent hack was you can watch YouTube on the TV, right?
00:11And we had this really interesting thing where I turned it on.
00:15Kids were watching like Minecraft videos, Pokemon videos.
00:17I went away and cooked dinner because I'm mostly the one that cooks dinner when I'm home.
00:22I came back 20 minutes and the screen was literally playing a Joe Rogan clip.
00:27Now, Joe Rogan is a lot of things for a lot of different people.
00:29Arguably the most popular podcaster in the world.
00:31But he's sitting there on my TV screen spouting like, you know, strong men, like spouting lots of big theories
00:40about like what makes a strong man.
00:42And I'm like, and I asked the kids, like, did you guys click on some stuff?
00:45And they just let it autoplay.
00:46So somehow with nobody clicking anything, they've gone from Pokemon and Minecraft videos to Joe Rogan spouting about weak men
00:54and, you know, weak times.
00:56In how long did that take?
00:5720 minutes.
00:58And it's, and at that point, I'm like, oh, that's intriguing.
01:01Maybe it's just a quirk of my algorithm.
01:02But actually, when you look into it, people are, when you set up an account as a young man on
01:06any social media account, they've found, and they've done research on this all around the world.
01:10It can go from set up account to pretty misogynistic content within as limited as like 20 minutes to half
01:17an hour on Instagram and TikTok.
01:20And I'll see you in the next video.
01:25And I'll see you in the next video.
