Meet Laura Enever, who paddled into a 43.6 ft (13.3 m) monster wave and officially set the Guinness World Record for the Largest Wave Paddled into by a Woman.

Her tireless journey to become one of surfing's true greats led her face-to-face with this epic challenge. This incredible achievement is fueled by an irresistible sense of ambition and a lot of courage.

00:00There's like big waves and then there's like the big wave or two.
00:06My next sort of goal was to paddle into the biggest waves that I could.
00:10The wave was 43.6 feet. That was the best moment of my life.
00:14The photographer said, I think this is the biggest wave I've ever paddled into by a woman.
00:18I submitted it to Guinness and yeah, a few months later they gave me a call and said that yeah,
00:24I'd broken the world record.
