00:04These are my five favorite new features in the Pocket 4. Number one, image quality has improved.
00:09It looks the same and all your accessories will still fit it, but this is actually a new one-inch
00:12CMOS sensor that pushes dynamic range to 14 stops. That's a two-stop improvement, but you don't have
00:17to know what that means. Just know it improves image quality and it takes much, much better video
00:20in low light. I'll talk more about video in a moment, but the sleeper upgrade is this new
00:24super photo mode that pushes photo resolution from 9.4 megapixels to a massive 37. At number
00:29two, the Pocket 4 introduces a new 10-bit D-Log Pro. This prevents color banding and gives
00:35you total control over grading and high contrast scenes. And I also love the fact you can turn
00:38the camera on its side and capture 4K footage with the gimbal still working properly. At number
00:43three, there's unrestricted zoom with two times lossless zoom that works a lot like an iPhone
00:4717 Pro and lets you zoom during recording now across active track D-Log and photo mode. The
00:52sexy spin shots, a personal favorite of mine, also remain and they let you capture insanely
00:57dynamic shots. Beaking of dynamic at number four, slow motion has literally doubled from 4K 120 to
01:024K 240 FPS. This will help break up the pacing of your social media edits and you basically get
01:07cinema quality smoothness without the need to buy an $8,000 camera. At number five, built-in storage.
01:12I don't know if you guys have seen the price of storage recently, but it is getting up there,
01:16but the Pocket 4 combats that with 170 gigabytes of internal memory, plenty for shooting on a camera
01:20this compact. It also upgrades to USB 3.1. It's five to 10 times faster than before. I haven't even
01:25scratched the surface with the Osmo Pocket 4, but don't let the internet tell you that it's only a
01:29small upgrade.
