00:06:27A lot to break down in this matchup tonight, but
00:06:29I do wanna talk about the breaking news that happened yesterday on Friday Night SmackDown.
00:06:33The fact that WWE Women's Champion, Rhea Ripley, is not able to compete due to a knee injury.
00:06:39She is not medically cleared, which means we are going to crown an interim champion.
00:06:43There will be qualifying matches leading up to SummerSlam.
00:06:46Five women will compete in a ladder match at SummerSlam to determine the interim champion.
00:06:52The reason I bring that up, that woman right there, J.C. Jane,
00:06:55was involved in a matchup against Tiffany Stratton.
00:06:57Stratton would go on to win last night, but there was a big brawl with Fatal Influence
00:07:01and Paige and Brie during that event.
00:07:03Yeah, the intent from Fatal Influence was to use the numbers game to take down Tiffany Stratton
00:07:09at the start of the match.
00:07:10That was perfect until the tag champs Paige and Brie Bella arrived,
00:07:15completely neutralizing Fallon and Lainey Reed.
00:07:19And then, consequently, J.C.J. missed out on that opportunity to head off to SummerSlam.

00:08:22And I'm sure Paige and her partner Brie Bella tonight will take a victory over
00:08:28fatal influence and following the footsteps of the great three Lions.
00:08:32Well, indeed, this is the second time that these two teams have met in a tag team matchup.

00:08:44However, they've had some singles matches.
00:08:46Laney Reed with one of the biggest wins of her career a number of weeks ago,
00:08:49knocking off Brie Bella.
00:08:50They've exchanged some wins back and forth, but tonight is the big one.
00:08:55Tonight's the one with gold on the line, and this is a huge opportunity for the newcomers of
00:09:01fatal influence to cement themselves as major players in WWE by grabbing the gold.

00:10:00If you're the challenger's fatal influence, what do you have to do to take the gold away from the champs?
00:10:05Pure aggression, show no respect to the fact that these two veterans were so well-loved within the industry, in
00:10:11the locker room, and of course, with our fan base.
00:10:14You have to ignore that. You are the underdogs here, you are the people with that experience, and you have
00:10:19to go full attack.
00:10:20Alan Henley sent it to the corner. She's a former NXT North American champion.
00:10:24She's had experience in different promotions around the globe the last number of years.

00:10:40So we're seeing in the early goings here, the veteran smiles of Paige and Brie Bella.

00:10:48and now they're just simply outmaneuvering the newcomers.

00:11:26And of course, Paige has a history of neck issues, and it seems like Fatal Influence
00:11:30are going straight on the attack after that neck.
00:11:32Yeah, you saw Reed deliver the elbow to the back of the neck moments ago.
00:11:35Fallon Henley now legal, and I like the frequent tags from the competitors here in this matchup.
00:11:42A well-oiled machine. They've been accused of being bullies in locker rooms before.
00:11:46They've been accused of being vindictive, but that is the kind of methodology
00:11:50when you're a newcomer that can take you to big places in short time,
00:11:54and now closing in on the goal has to be Fatal Influence.
00:11:57What an opportunity tonight as well for Reed and Henley, I mean, to try to win the tag titles

00:46:40be very careful in this life who you choose as a friend because pick badly and this is what
00:46:50happens 12 plus months spent around bailey has completely broken poor lyra valkyria
00:47:01and tonight's saturday night's main event from madison square garden in new york

00:47:13yes i just find it hard to explain what lyra valkyria has gone through

00:47:41and listen i feel for bailey and you know i've had my differences with her in the past but

00:47:52in the locker room by a lot of these superstars she was a mentor for over a year to lyra

00:48:21tells you that bailey is not a stepping stone it turns out that bailey is just an albatross around the

00:48:29of any woman she attempts to mentor now i'll take nothing away from bailey fantastic in-ring competitor
00:48:36amazing career however that doesn't always equate to you becoming a great teacher and mentor
00:48:43and in bailey's case she needs to give up that line of work completely

00:48:51they had five tag team championship opportunities they lost all of them
00:48:56which is one of the reasons i believe that lyra valkyria went off the deep end
00:49:00the last time the women's championship was the tag team titles were on the line in the garden
00:49:05well bailey and lyra valkyria were involved in that matchup and they were defeated
00:49:09in that match so you put two top names in the locker room into a tag team
00:49:15success only has one vision and that is becoming tag champions and when it doesn't happen
00:49:22that is when the blame game starts somebody's at fault somebody hasn't carried their weight
00:49:26somebody's made the wrong decisions and in lyra's mind that lies squarely at the feet of bailey
00:49:33i'm not quite sure i've seen a transformation quite like this over the past couple of weeks
00:49:38i mean lyra looks completely disheveled i don't even know if she should be competing in this state

00:50:29referee getting involved yeah because i think lyra was busted open as we take another look here
00:50:35after the aggression of bailey shot to the stomach right there maybe right on the nose actually it
00:50:42was it was a nasty looking shot and again perhaps intentional from bailey looking to break the nose
00:50:49of lyra valkyria such as the bitterness and hatred but right after bailey and the fight is on and again
00:50:55to your point the emotions just running wild boiling over here in this match and now lyra valkyria fighting back

00:53:56what you would have expected from two women with their kind of backgrounds but that is what
