00:00We treat the world very seriously, and there's a sincerity that we bring into making it.
00:04I can't speak to a Mattel approach, although I will say that their head of film, Robbie Brenner, is an
00:10extraordinary filmmaker herself.
00:11She comes in from a background of independent film, and so she is a real champion of filmmakers.
00:16And so I certainly felt their support and her support every step of the way in this movie.
00:20You know, for me, it's just, I do long for the days of kind of earnest, sincere filmmaking.
00:27It's one of these things where, you know, I've heard multiple times, like, you know, the sincerity, that's not cool.
00:33And it's not cool, but it's one of those things where, to me, I feel like if you were going
00:37to tell a story that actually is going to mean something to somebody else, it should mean something to you.
00:41And if it means something to you, you're not taking a detached, arm's length look at it.
00:45You are opening yourself up, you're letting all these oozing emotions come out, and you're putting everything you have into
00:50it.
00:50And for me, even though there's a cheekiness, there's a playfulness to the way we bring this world to life,
00:55because there is something that is silly about He-Man.
