00:00I want to take you to your neck of the woods now, New York, there.
00:03You a fan of Jackson Dart?
00:04You think there's great upside for him?
00:06Do you like him, or do you think you're still a big work in progress?
00:11Well, you know, let me see what I'm going to say.
00:16He's not what I thought he would be.
00:18He's a hell of a lot better than I thought he would be.
00:21And I mean that in every aspect.
00:23You know, you get around him.
00:24I've only been around him a few times.
00:26We do some funny interviews for the Giants, you know, social media and all that.
00:31But he's, you know, he's that guy.
00:33He can galvanize players without trying to galvanize them.
00:36It's just the way he handles himself, the way he relates, the way he can kind of do whatever.
00:41And then two things I, Dan and I noticed, his running in the pros looks better than it ever did
00:49in college.
00:51It looks faster, this, that.
00:53And his arm, you can count on your hand the number of times he missed a receiver that was open.
00:59His accuracy, his arm's stronger in person, as I've seen him in the pros, than I probably gave him credit
01:04for down at Ole Miss.
01:07But, yeah, he's a true, I'm not crazy about the name, but he is really a true franchise quarterback.
01:13How about this here with John Harbaugh?
01:15The impact you think he has on that New York team.
01:18Sweeping changes.
01:19They moved Dexter Lawrence to Cincinnati.
01:21You know, he got complete autonomy, it seems, there with Joe Schoen there, the general manager.
01:26What impact do you think he makes there with the New York Giants?
01:32Listen, I think he's already had a great impact.
01:35Just for, I mean, everybody.
01:37He's affected all the people in the building, all the scouts, the assistant coaches, and the players.
01:45It didn't take them long to find out who he was.
01:47He's kind of an old school.
01:49Get it together.
01:50We're going to practice hard, but we're going to have a lot of good stuff for all the players during
01:54the game.
01:54And that's what I like him.
01:55And, you know, he hired, I think, really good coordinators.
01:58He's got a great coaching staff.
02:00I think the Giants will be one of those teams that if they can win a couple of close ones,
02:04they could turn in a good record.
02:06Do I think they're going to maybe go to the playoffs?
02:08Maybe.
02:09But, you know, of course, I'm not going to pick them to make a run in the playoffs or anything
02:13like that.
02:13But they're on the right track, no doubt.
02:15How about Neighbors?
02:16Fan of him?
02:17I mean, obviously, injury a year ago.
02:19Year before that, Phil, he was electric, man.
02:23I mean, he was just electric.
02:25Yeah, he's a huge part of this team, man.
02:27If he comes back and he's healthy with all the things they've done with the offensive line, the tight ends,
02:32the running backs, and the defense, which is going to be really fast.
02:37And I think it's going to be outstanding.
02:40So, Neighbors, he's a big deal, no doubt about it.
