00:19fired nominations for BJP in Rajya Sabha. This is another split that we're seeing from the TMC as
00:26it's seen a barrage of MPs resign and form a breakaway faction. The latest to be added to the
00:32list is TMC MP Koyal Malik. She has submitted her resignation from Rajya Sabha. This will come as
00:37another blow to TMC Supremer Mamata Banerji and this adds to the growing list of the MPs who have
00:45been resigning. In June 2026 alone we saw Sukhendu Sekhar Roy, Sushmita Dev and Prakash Chikbarek resign.
00:52All three recently filed nominations for the BJP in Rajya Sabha. So they have left the TMC ship and now
01:00have joined the BJP. They have filed their nominations from there and we're already seeing
01:05massive turmoil in the TMC because we're seeing breakaway factions and MPs splitting from the TMC.
01:11In another blow now we're also seeing MP Koyal Malik who has submitted her resignation from Rajya Sabha today.
01:26This is the latest blow that we're seeing to Mamata Banerji. Now we're seeing that Rajya Sabha MP Koyal Malik
01:33has resigned from the upper house from TMC and she has put in her application for the BJP.
01:39This adds to the growing list of the TMC MPs who are resigning from TMC. They are forming a breakaway
01:46faction. We're already seeing this play out. It's been going on in West Bengal especially after the
01:51loss that it had witnessed in the elections where we now see BJP is ruling in Bengal and now we're
01:58seeing these breakaway factions being formed. The latest to that is also now the Rajya Sabha MPs
02:04which are now resigning and we're seeing latest to that list is MP Koyal Malik who has resigned
02:11today and has filled her nomination for the BJP in Rajya Sabha. Before this let us also tell you
02:17that there were Sukhendu Sekhar Roy, Sushmita Dev and Prakash Chikbareg who had resigned from the Rajya Sabha
02:24in TMC and all the three have recently filed nomination for the BJP in RSS. Koyal Malik who's also an
02:31actress.
02:32She's an actor turned politician in the TMC. She was a trusted loyalist of Mamata Banerjee as well
02:39and now we see her also jumping ships from TMC and now going to the BJP as well.
02:50Remember yesterday we had also seen Madan Mitra who's another loyalist of the TMC who had also jumped ships.
02:59He had left and breakaway faction and now we're seeing another name being added to that list.

04:20Remember all of this comes on the backdrop of TMC losing the elections and BJP winning this time.

04:36and now we're getting another decision actor turned politician MP Kole Malik who has submitted her resignation today from Rajya
04:43Sabha as well
04:44and even though Mamata Banerjee is facing these blows days after days we'll see now another name crop up amidst
04:52this as well.
