Venezuela expressed gratitude for the messages of support and solidarity sent by Brazil, Mexico, India, and Cuba following the earthquakes that have affected much of the nation. teleSUR

00:05after the two earthquakes of 7.5 and 7.2 magnitude hit the country.
00:10We are looking at the polls from Brazilian President Luis Inácio Lula da Silva through his ex-account that he
00:15expressed.
00:16I became aware, with great concern and dismay, of the impacts caused by the earthquake that struck Venezuela this Wednesday.
00:23I instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to assess, together with the Brazilian Embassy in Caracas,
00:28the situation in the country, and the measures of assistance that Brazil can adopt.
00:33I reaffirm our determination to support the government of acting president de Cerro Rígas
00:37in the recovery of affected areas in the sister nation,
00:40whose people have given proof of great resilience in the face of adversities.
00:56In this context, the President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, also offered to help the people of Venezuela

01:09A solidarity with the people of Venezuela, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has contacted the government of our sister nation,
01:15and I have already instructed them to prepare the necessary aid.
01:19For now, they have requested the support with specialized rescue and medical personnel.
01:25Mexico is and will always be in solidarity.
01:37For more, the Indian President, Narendra Modi, also shared a message of solidarity.

01:43Deeply saddened by the devastation caused by the severe earthquakes in Venezuela.

01:48On behalf of the people of India, I extend our heartfelt condolences to the government and the people of Venezuela,

02:15Meanwhile, from Cuba, Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez also shared a message of solidarity amidst the disaster.

02:22I extend my deepest condolences and solidarity to the government and the brotherly people of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela
02:27for the loss of lives and damage caused by the earthquake.
02:30The Minister continued,
02:31The health collaborators from Cuba present there are fully mobilized and providing medical services to the affected population.
02:44Also, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel expressed his condolences to the people of Venezuela after the earthquakes that hit the
02:50nation.
02:51He stated,
02:52Our heartfelt condolences and full solidarity with the government and people of Venezuela,
02:55following the terrible earthquakes that struck the central part of this country this Wednesday.
