00:00Who would you take as the greatest fighter in the history of UFC?
00:04It's such a tough subject because it's really hard to not say John Jones because he's never lost.
00:13He did have a loss on his record because he landed illegal elbows in a fight that he was absolutely
00:18dominating.
00:20I think that was wiped from his record, if I'm not mistaken.
00:23But he's never truly lost.
00:25Like, he's never truly lost a fight.
00:26Now, there are fights, the Reyes fight, you could say he lost that fight.
00:31The Tiago Santos fight, you know, that was a pretty close five-round fight.
00:35Santos blew out both of his knees in that one.
00:38Santos could have won the first Gustafson fight.
00:40There are fights on John Jones' record that could have just gone the other way, split decisions, that could have
00:47just gone the other way.
00:49And, you know, it would change the entire narrative.
00:52But when you really break it down, Jones, you know, he hasn't had those losses.
00:56You know, Khabib's up there, obviously.
00:59GSP's a guy that has losses on his record.
01:01But when you really look at the body of work of GSP, he's up there.
01:05So, it's really tough to say.
01:08Anderson Silva?
01:08Anderson Silva, would he be in there?
01:12Yeah.
01:12Yeah, and what upsets me about the Anderson Silva thing is when he was fighting, when he was in his
01:17prime, he was taking fights.
01:19He was a 185-pound champion.
01:20He was running through everybody.
01:22And he was taking fights at 205, just moving up, just knocking out light heavyweights and looking amazing.
01:29And if his career was 10 years later, after the big Conor storm, when, you know, Conor got the belt
01:35at 45, moved up, got the belt at 55, Anderson Silva absolutely had a real legitimate shot to win the
01:42title at 205 and be a double champion.
01:44But he never got that opportunity.
01:46He only got the opportunity to move up and fight guys in that division, dominate them, but never got to
01:53fight for that belt to be a double champion.
01:55And Anderson Silva's peak was about as good as it gets.
01:58It really was.
