00:00Entired Vice Admiral, Navy SEAL, Robert Harwood, grew up in Iran, led invasions in Afghanistan,
00:04Iraq, member of the Jinsa Iran Policy Project joins us now.
00:08So when you listen to the president, you think he's evolved to where you're at.
00:12And that is you can't trust these people.
00:14They don't have-
00:15This is what's happening, U.S. strikes Iran as horrible tensions arise right now.
00:20Don't have legitimate aims, and they gotta be stopped.
00:24Yep.
00:25Yep.
00:25Without a doubt, Brian, and my phone was blown up yesterday from all our Iranian contacts.
00:31They're all cheering.
00:32They know the opportunity the president has.
00:36Yes.
00:36His use of force here has really reinstated that.
00:39It's also illustrated how weak the Iranians-
00:42U.S. hits Iran as ceasefire appears to collapse, collapse, literally collapse-
00:49...is in that they have not responded.
00:51And everyone knew at the end of the day from the historical content that Iran has never capitulated
00:57on anything.
00:58They've only worked to enhance their position, their financial status in the president.
01:03This is, this is very true.
01:05I agree with the Admiral on this one.
01:09Yes, on this one.
01:10Very, very true right now.
01:12He understands this.
01:13He understands this.
01:14I think he's come to that realization, and this first step of reconstituting the blockade
01:19is a critical component of that.
01:22He can now leverage all the elements of power, not only military, but more importantly financial,
01:28and I think illustrated from his time as in...
01:31Yes, yes.
01:32Wait a minute.
01:33Trump had been since to battle for our moves.
01:37This is what's happening right now.
01:39...anker to build political support internationally and domestically to finish the job and go
01:46after the government of Iran.
01:47So, if you could pretend I'm a student at your war college class.
01:50Yes.
01:51Let's take a look at this region.
01:52We hit 150 different targets over the last 48 hours.
01:55Where would you be looking at that would really get the attention of the Iranians?
02:00And that's usually in their pocket, their work.
02:02Okay, okay.
02:02This is a very good question, because in 48 hours, we hit almost 150 plus targets in Iran
02:10and be the king.
02:12What's...
02:13Well, again, I'd start outside the gulf itself, where you're showing Shabahar, a city called
02:19Jask.
02:20That's, that's risk-free almost.
02:23It's the hardest point in Iran for them to supply, take you, there's a major port there.
02:28Start there.
02:30Take it out.
02:31Put boots on the ground if you'd have to.
02:33If you put any boots on the ground...
02:35Yes, this is good, because this is where Iran supposedly have the control.
02:41This right here, okay, right here on my cursor.
02:44And this right here is where US army troops, dum-dum-dum here, and dum-dum-dum here, all
02:50here.
02:50Well, I know there is risk involved with that.
02:53The message to the population of Iran that America is serious, that you have finished this
03:00thing, is the indication.
03:02So I move my way up into the gulf towards Kesem, towards Bandar Bas, those areas, and all along
03:09the gulf, control that, and you can control Iran.
03:12All right, all right, all right.
03:14Retired Vice Admiral gave us some strategies, right from here to here.
03:19And we control this, we control whole Iran.
03:21So let's go look at another map, because this is going to be some of the target-rich areas.
03:26But as we look at a different map, this is where the blockade was.
03:30Yes.
03:30This is what the Iranians want to control.
03:32Yes.
03:33What would we have to hit?
03:34I told you, I told you, this is where the US blockade, initial US blockade line, right
03:40here.
03:41And here, right, we have all admiral submarines, airships, and all.
03:46To push the Iranians back out of that.
03:50Yep.
03:51All of those places in Iran, and starting with the Trump points.
03:55Is this all mountainous?
03:57And are there rockets buried there?
03:59Are there drone sites, launch sites?
04:01Sure, there's stuff dispersed, right, whatever.
04:04Yes, there are whole big, big mountains.
04:06The topography, there's your issue.
04:08That's the hardest part for Iran, to supply, support, you know, especially if you blockade and
04:14nothing's coming up, to move anything south from Tehran, from Tabriz, any of those other
04:20locations to reinforce and support that.
04:23This is, this is what we want.
04:25They only have the international waterways to do anything, do anything, because their whole
04:32country is within the mountains.
04:35It is difficult.
04:36So it leaves those assets on their own, dependent on those supplies and stuff they receive.
04:42And so we can easily control that.
04:45So yes, work your way up the Gulf, take out the coastline, but ultimately, also hold Tehran
04:52at risk as well.
04:53In the capital, because that's where, that's where the so-called brain trust is, which before
04:58this conflict started, they couldn't even deliver water.
05:01Yep.
05:02Yeah.
05:02We're talking about Iran, the capital of Iran.
05:05So I don't know what they're dealing with now.
05:07Yep.
05:07Admiral, we'll have to see where this goes, because now it is back to kinetic military
05:11operations, and it doesn't look like the IRG cares much, even if the foreign minister
05:17and speaker do.
05:18Admiral, thanks so much.
05:19Appreciate it.
05:20Let's go over to Carly.
05:21Hey, Carly.
05:22Hey, yeah.
05:22Thank you so much, Admiral.
