00:06is open for business. Up until Thursday, the South Florida facility was called Palm Beach International Airport for over half

00:16Damn, this is happening. Palm Beach Airport renamed as President Donald J. Trump International Airport. Whoa.
00:23Months old state law took effect. And you can see this on social media talking about this. Palm Beach Airport
00:30now named for President Trump effective today. Palm Beach International officially renamed President Donald J. Trump International Airport. The airport
00:39website will continue to be at that link. Yes, at that link during the translation or more visit there.
00:45They have this here on social media. As the President flies in and out of that airport relatively often. And
00:51it's mere miles from his oceanfront estate. Mar del Lago as the lifelong New Yorker.
00:56Mar del Lago. Palm Beach as his permanent residence in 2019. And this is some of the images of that

01:11Donald J. Airport as Eric Trump, the executive vice president of the Trump Organization, said the President's plane was the
01:18first to land at the newly renamed airport.
01:21Wow, that's why they do it.
01:235.01 a.m. on Thursday. Eric Trump also had this statement online.
01:305.01 a.m. that the name of the airport changed from Palm Beach International to President Donald J. Trump
01:36International Airport. And there's no way there's no way in hell as letting UPS be the first plane to land.
01:41Wow. Oh, my God. Trump's plane is the first plane to land. You see in the background. Here we have
01:47it. Yes.
01:48We're on Trump Force One. And Lawrence, you've been on it. And Brian, you've certainly been on it. And Emily,
01:52you've probably been on it as well. But we had to be the last plane to take off out of
01:56PBI. And then air traffic control comes on. And, you know, welcome to Trump Force One. You're the first plane
02:01to ever land, you know, at this airport. And so we touched down at exactly 5.01 a.m. this
02:06morning. And it was a beautiful day. I don't think there's anybody more synonymous with Palm Beach than Donald Trump
02:11and maybe all of Florida. And, you know, it's his home. He absolutely loves the state. Won the state by
02:15a major margin.
02:16You know, and this is a plane that carried him to victory. A lot of people will argue three times.
02:21He's trying to be.
02:23But certainly two. It was the backdrop of so many of the presidential campaign stops. There's so many stops with
02:28us as a family. So it was an incredibly special moment for us this morning.
02:32Damn, this is something that everybody can be proud of. I think you can be. Yes, you.
02:38Well, guys, he actually woke me up. It was really nice. About midnight last night, he was coming back from
02:42Turkey. My phone rings. Now, we had to be out here at 3.30 a.m., right?
02:46So I was going to get about two hours of sleep. And the two of us ended up speaking for
02:49about an hour on the way back from Turkey.
02:51He's super excited about this. Again, a place he knows so well. You know, Palm Beach International. It's actually one
02:56of the, now, obviously, President Donald J. Trump International Airport.
02:59But it's one of the fastest growing airports in the country. And, you know, Palm Beach is obviously incredibly explosive.
03:05I mean, it's one of the fastest growing airports. And Florida, even though, have everybody on there.
03:11In areas of the country. And, you know, he's thrilled. I mean, he's beyond honored. He would have loved to
03:16have been here.
03:17He was obviously coming back from Ankara. And you guys covered that trip incredibly well. But beyond excited. And, you
03:24know, he's certainly humbled by it.
03:25And he was the first plane to land at 501 this morning.
03:29Yeah, everybody clapping on that. Clapping on that. Truly sweet.
03:35Thursday. And dozens of different airports around the country are named after President.
03:40But Trump is the first to receive the distinction while still at office.
03:44And another component to Palm Beach International being renamed after President Trump is the name of it.
03:50The acronym is now DJT. As you can see from the FAA saying effective today, Palm Beach International three-letter
03:57location identifier has changed.
04:15This is a big, big, big achievement in your life. Oh my damn God. I want a big achievement like
04:27this.
04:27So a major development in South Florida for this. As we talk about the other airports that include John F.
04:35Kennedy in New York, for example, renamed for the late president a month after his assassination.
04:39Yes, after assassination, a month after they named him. But for here, President Donald Trump, is he's alive?
04:47The nation Ronald Reagan, Washington National Airport in D.C. added in the late 1990s, a decade after he left
04:55office.
