00:00What a ridiculous statement by the President of the United States to say that NATO is a paper
00:04tiger. It's anything but a paper tiger. Look, there's a reason countries are in a queue wanting
00:10to join NATO, because they know that since it was founded in 1949, it has been the most successful
00:16defensive alliance in the history of the world. Never perfect, never without its flaws,
00:22never without its challenges, but always the most successful defensive alliance in the history of
00:28the world. And so it's in the interest of the United States that NATO be successful. And I think
00:36we will regret the day that under this administration, and if any future administration does the same
00:43thing, begins to turn our back on Europe and on our NATO allies, we will regret it because
00:50these countries have capabilities. They have capacities. The combined technology, population,
00:57industry, military, of all the other members of NATO, including Canada, dwarfs Russia. And so one
01:04day we're going to wake up and realize that we are no longer relevant in Europe. And the lost influence
01:10and the lost trust is only going to hurt the United States. The President keeps talking about,
01:16you know, Greenland is ours, or we're going to take Greenland. I mean, what an own goal is that?
01:22That makes no sense. There's no need for it. And I think, you know, the Europeans are going to harden
01:28their resistance to him, and they're not intimidated by him anymore.
