00:00When America came under attack on 9-11, that horrific day that we all remember so well,
00:07Britain stood four square behind the United States of America.
00:13We have lost many, many service personnel standing shoulder to shoulder with our American allies.
00:21That's point one.
00:22Point two, Donald Trump, in recent months, has literally been threatening Greenland,
00:29which is part of, ultimately, Denmark, which is a NATO ally.
00:33That is simply extraordinary.
00:36And there was this leaked document from the Pentagon over the weekend,
00:40unusually not actually from the horse's mouth itself, not from Trump's Truth Social,
00:45that suggested America was re-evaluating whether it thought that the Falkland Islands do indeed belong to Britain,
00:52which, of course, they do.
00:53So Donald Trump is behaving erratically, provocatively, and as I started out by saying,
01:00he has done serious damage to the NATO alliance, not least by questioning America's ongoing participation
01:08and describing it as a paper tiger.
01:11That is something I hope that King Charles will be able to address,
01:14because it is fundamental to Western security in a seriously unstable world.
