00:00We are here at Lamex, which is going to be a massive couple of days here in Adelaide at the
00:04Convention Centre.
00:05There's a big theme of telling our stories this year, so what do you think that's going to mean?
00:10Hopefully we'll be able to give our readers a lot of key take-home messages from producers.
00:15Really exciting to see so many different producers in different states and overseas.
00:21I mean, the speaking panel looks amazing too, doesn't it?
00:24Yeah, there's some really hot topics.
00:26So there's a lot of panels with farmers, quite a few international guests as well,
00:29talking about sheep from around the world, which is going to be really exciting.
00:34And I'm really excited to hear Jess, the Hardcore Carnival.
00:39Hopefully we'll be able to bring to you exactly how to grill that perfect barbecue lamb.
00:45Over 1,400 now. We're still selling tickets as people are coming in, so it's growing big.
00:50And it's definitely the biggest Lamex on record now, whether it's with the producers coming,
00:54my overall delegates, the biggest trade floor we've ever had, the most speakers we've ever had.
01:00It's just a huge amount of lamb and muttons up, and a lot of the sheep areas have had good
01:05range.
01:05So, yeah, you can't be excited about sheep at the moment, but I know when you're winning.
01:09I think I'm most excited getting out of the booklets and actually being in a space where I can see
01:14people and network and talk to people.
01:17So, I'm looking forward to catching up with breeders and service providers in the Australian sheep industry
01:22and also internationally over the last couple of days, and also listening to the seminars and workshops and seeing what
01:29can we learn.
01:29Lamex is so good just because of the people it collects, the information that's available,
01:34the networking that can be done, the people that are attracted to this sort of event.
01:39It just creates the best vibe, I think is probably the word, and it's a great space to make.
