00:00I'd like to make a rhubarb upside down cake and it is one of the best cakes ever. You need
00:05four
00:06tablespoons of butter cut into quarter inch cubes and we want one pound of rhubarb cut on a sharp
00:14diagonal. Once you have one pound of rhubarb all cut up into these nice oblique pieces, sprinkle
00:21three quarters of a cup of sugar over the rhubarb. This gets the juices running. One cup of all-purpose
00:28flour and a half a cup of sugar. A half a cup of melted butter. This is for the crumb
00:33topping. Just
00:34stir until you get a kind of a coarse crumb. Okay, now we can layer the rhubarb all over the
00:42bottom
00:42and then the cake batter itself, which is a very simple sour cream baking powder batter. Strew
00:49your streusel crumbs all over the top. Cake is ready for the oven. 350 degree one hour.
00:58How beautiful.
