00:04I start by arranging peeled apple slices in a greased 9-inch cake pan,
00:08and then making some brown butter for the cake batter.
00:10In the same pot, I make a quick brown sugar caramel topping, which I pour over the apples.
00:14The cake batter is so easy and can be mixed together by hand,
00:17and then scooped over the caramel apple topping.
00:20Let your upside-down cake cool for 15 to 20 minutes before flipping it over,
00:23then serve with a scoop of ice cream or whipped cream.
