00:00DAP leader Tony Poir has warned that cooperation between Barca Nacional and PAS in Johor
00:07could undo the progress achieved by the Pakatan Harapan-led federal government.
00:12He told a fundraising dinner in Subang Jaya that voters at the next general election
00:17would face a choice between Anwar Ibrahim, Ahmad Zaid Hamidi or Abdul Hadi Awang as Prime Minister.
00:24Poir stressed that the collaboration between PAS and BN aimed to edge out PH in the Johor state election.
00:31BN and PH are competing against each other in all 56 seats,
00:36while PAS is contesting 11 and has urged supporters to vote for BN in seats it does not contest.
00:43Poir said voters should ensure PH is given another term in government,
00:48warning that a change in coalition could reverse the progress of the past four years.
00:54He highlighted Malaysia's consistent growth rate of more than 5% despite global uncertainty,
01:01continued foreign investment, rising tourist arrivals and a stronger ringgit.
01:06Poir, a former Damansara MP and economic advisor to former Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng,
01:12said these achievements showed the country is on the right track.
01:17He argued that the current unity government coalition led by PH should be given another opportunity
01:23to build on its record.
01:26The current federal government is headed by PH Chairman Anwar as Prime Minister,
01:30while the opposition comprises PAS, Bersatu and other parties.
