00:27a decade, while Washington DC and nearby Baltimore are also expected to come close to their respective
00:34all-time heat records with forecast highs of 41 degrees.
00:39With air conditioning demand expected to reach record levels, authorities have taken steps
00:44to safeguard the stability of electricity grids and have instructed large electricity consumers
00:51to help reduce pressure on the power system to prevent supply disruptions.
