00:13The 38-year-old began his professional career in Melbourne with the South Dragons 20 years ago, earning Rookie of
00:20the Year honors and winning an NBL title in 2009.
00:26He would then move to Europe for successful stints with Granada, Barcelona and Maccabi Tel Aviv before 12 years in
00:34the NBA with Utah, Milwaukee, Orlando and Minnesota.
00:40He was runner up for the league's sixth man of the year award in 2021 and is Utah's all-time
00:46leader in three-pointers made.
00:50Ingles has represented the Boomers at four FIBA World Cups and five Olympics and was part of the team that
00:56took home a historic bronze from the Tokyo Games.
01:03Also in the NBL, World Cup winning coach Gordon Herbert has been appointed to lead the New Zealand Breakers.
01:12Herbert famously led the German national team to glory at the 2023 FIBA World Cup, having also claimed bronze on
01:20home soil at Eurobasket the year before.
01:23He would step down after the Paris Olympics, where Germany finished fourth.
01:30He has also had a stint in charge of the Georgian national team and overseen success in the club game,
01:36winning Bundesliga titles with Skyliners Frankfurt in 2004 and Bayern Munich last year, and a French Cup with Paolac Ortez.
01:46Other stops include WĂĽrzburg, Aris and Alba Berlin, and a spell as an assistant with the Toronto Raptors.
01:57Herbert also serves as head coach of Canada, who he represented at the L.A. 1984 Olympics as a player,
02:03and is now set to take the side to next year's World Cup in Qatar and another L.A. Games
