00:00And the damage caused by the back-to-back earthquakes on June 24th did not only affect the capillary region.
00:06Our colleague Luis Alberto Matos brings us details from the town of Morón in Carabobo State in the central western
00:13part of the country.
00:19Good afternoon, studios. We continue traveling across the different states that were impacted by the back-to-back earthquakes on
00:25Wednesday, June 24th.
00:26I'm currently in the courtyard of a hospital here in Puerto Cabello, one of the places that are temporary camps
00:32for the people that have been displaced due to the impact of the earthquakes that destroyed their homes, or their
00:38homes have been rendered inhabilitable.
00:40So we can see here in the back, all the people are gathered here. They have been receiving help from
00:45the community.
00:46Just minutes ago, people arrived to bring water, to bring milk, to bring food to help these people.
00:52So this is a moment showing the support of the Venezuela people between each other, with the phrase that has
00:58become a slogan right now, saying people saves the people.
01:02If you can see on the other side here, this is the area of the hospital.
01:05There were people are being treated. They arrived with injuries or were any kind of trauma.
01:09They are being treated, and the rest of the persons that have been displaced are currently here in the courtyard.
01:14It's also a gathering spot for supplies, so people are also coming here in solidarity to bring any aid, any
01:21medicine, any food, any clothes necessary to help provide for these people who have lost everything due to the powerful
01:287.2, 7.5 earthquakes that struck Venezuela on Wednesday, June 24th.
01:33So this is what is happening right now here in one of the temporary camps.
01:36There are many like this across the impacted areas of the earthquakes in Venezuela, and we'll have more information as
01:42we continue to travel across the different states and towns.
01:45We'll go back to you.
