00:12artist Alex Mulholland, known professionally as Mull. Organisers say the race, which runs from
00:17Newcastle to South Shields, is preparing for its biggest year yet. An additional 3,000 places have
00:23been allocated for the next event on the 13th of September, bringing the expected field to
00:2963,000 runners. Founder Sir Brendan Foster says the run's legacy continues, while attention
00:35remains firmly on its future for generations of participants and charity supporters.
