00:19Astrawani editor Najib Arouf reports from the 17th annual meeting of the new champions in Dalian, China.
00:27So the World Economic Forum's annual meeting of the new champions 2026 in Dalian, China, closes curtain today.
00:34And of course, this morning we had one of the final sessions.
00:37It's called U.S. and China from here to where.
00:40This is discussed about the complicated and complex relationship between the two rivalry and two superpowers of the world,
00:48where basically extensions between the United States and China continue to reshape global trade, investments and also
00:55technology flows, businesses are increasingly being forced to make decisions and also not just based on their strategy,
01:04but also based on economy, not just strategy and economy, but also based on geopolitical as well.
01:10At the same time, that was one of the key messages from the sessions and especially emerging and middle powers
01:16also facing difficulties in managing and striking the balance between the complex relationship of these two superpowers.
01:22So let's listen to one of the speakers had to say about the complication relationship between China and the United
01:32States.
01:33For the remaining of those countries, whoever would try to win in this game needs to bond together.
01:39That's where Carnism is talking about.
01:41Actually, the middle powers, all these countries, they need to unify, come together, forming a bigger market
01:46so that they can generate the innovation, you know, having the finance that they need to compete in this world.
01:51So that's why geopolitics now is fitting into the business considerations.
01:57And of course, this discussion comes as the government and businesses worldwide continue to assess
02:03how basically the evolving of U.S.-China relationship could shape supply chain, investment decisions and future economic growth.
02:11And that is what has been discussed based on this session this morning.
02:17And of course, there's a lot of other sessions.
02:19I believe the results of this discussion will be brought to the next Davos in Switzerland next year, January.
02:27So that's it from us in Dalian, China for AMNC 226.
02:32See you next year.
