00:00I think it's the last thing she was expecting, um, to see this video on Dirk's laptop.
00:05I mean, she actually opens the laptop to find his vows because Milo says, oh, we've left them at home.
00:10Um, can you just print another one off?
00:12Which obviously Milo knows that Holly's going to find it.
00:16Um, so when she opens the laptop and sees this video that she hasn't seen since her and Nick were
00:21together
00:22and actually didn't agree to do and Nick told her that it had been done.
00:26Um, so she wasn't a fan of it anyway.
00:28Um, she's just mortified because she doesn't expect Dirk to have that on his laptop.
00:36But I think the fact that she's, she's very, she's not ready to move on yet and she's not even
00:42trusting a lot of men.
00:45So her, her instinct is to go, Dirk's been watching this, this tape, which, you know, Cindy doesn't believe.
00:53And normally Holly wouldn't jump to that conclusion, but the state of mind she's in at the minute,
00:58she completely believes, he must have been watching it.
01:01Um, which is quite, quite hard really to do as well.
01:06To think, you know, David who plays Dirk as well, was very, uh, wasn't very nice.
01:11No.
01:12Do you think it's, um, because of what she went through with Nick that she's, that she instantly jumps to
01:18this conclusion
01:19that she's not trusting Dirk, do you think what she went through with, um, Nick has kind of skewed her
01:25vision a little bit
01:25and made her mistrusting?
01:28Yeah, massively.
01:29Um, she even has that episode with, uh, Damon where she doesn't trust him when he's trying to chat up
01:35Ellie.
01:36She's like, no, he's a player.
01:38Um, I think she's completely shut down from guys and it's just, doesn't trust anyone.
01:43Um, and I think it's because she had so much trust in Nick and just because she didn't see what
01:49he was being like.
01:50Even when somebody told her what he was like, she still didn't see it.
01:54And she didn't see it until it happened to her.
01:57And even then she had to have someone else to encourage her to tell someone what had actually happened
02:02and realise what she'd been through.
02:04I just think she doesn't know where to begin.
02:07She's just sort of, you know, so when she sees that video, her, it's, her, it's completely warped.
02:14She thinks Dirk's watched it and, and nobody can get through to her.
02:18And it's quite sad because it's, she never would have thought that before of Dirk.
02:22Even if she would have thought, oh, there must be a reason why that's on there.
02:26But as well, when Dirk first found out, he didn't believe Holly straight away.
02:32She, he kind of said, I want to speak to Nick first.
02:34And then he still helped Nick when he was getting sent away.
02:38He was coming back and asking Dirk for help.
02:40So even that made Holly kind of doubt Dirk a little bit and they are family.
02:44So I just think she was, she's like, oh, I can't believe it.
02:47You're exactly the same.
02:48I didn't see it with Nick and I haven't seen it with you.
02:51So.
02:52And, um, obviously that this happens right before the wedding and Cindy doesn't believe
02:58this of Dirk at all.
03:00Um, what kind of, what kind of reaction is there between mother and daughter?
03:04Um, and will this lead to Holly being absent for the wedding?
03:08Um, well, at first, um, before she finds the video, um, Milo actually sets Dirk up.
03:15Um, and gets him to kiss, uh, gets a kiss, a stripper to kiss Dirk.
03:21Um, so for Cindy to see, but Holly's like, oh, well, I'll come and help.
03:25Cause he said, oh, Dirk's drunk.
03:27So Holly goes to help Dirk and sees him kiss this stripper.
03:30So that's what kind of makes her go, I can't believe you've done that to my mum.
03:33Um, she confronts Dirk and he's like, no, no, she kissed me.
03:36She, that's when she starts to have her first doubts about him, but she knows after she goes
03:41to tell Cindy and Cindy kind of says before Holly tells her about the stripper, and this
03:47is before the video as well, Cindy convinces Holly that Dirk is a good man and has never
03:53let her down.
03:54She goes, oh, I don't want to ruin your big day.
03:55But then when she sees this video, it's like, no, that this is dodgy now.
04:00This is horrific.
04:03So when she tells Cindy, Cindy at first is baffled as to why it's on the laptop, on his
04:09laptop.
04:09So she confronts him about it cause she wants to hear it from his side.
04:13But then she decides because obviously Dirk hasn't done it and he's pleading with her.
04:19She, she believes him because she knows he's not capable of that.
04:22And she knows what Holly's been through as well.
04:24And maybe she can see what Holly's reaction, why she's jumping to that conclusion so quickly
04:29instead of thinking, oh, you know, maybe somebody else put it there.
04:33So when Holly asks, says to her mum, like, why, why are you picking him over me?
04:38Why are you listening to him?
04:40I feel like you're not even for a second believing me.
04:42And she's like, because I know he hasn't done it.
04:44So just, just come in, come inside, come join us on the wedding.
04:48And I'm like, no, I can't.
04:50You've chosen him.
04:51She basically says, if you, if you go in there, if you go marry him, then you've lost
04:55me.
04:56And Cindy just chooses him.
04:59So Holly's obviously mortified and feels really alone.
05:03And does she then, does she follow through with that?
05:06Is this kind of, is this a betrayal to her enough that could destroy the relationship
05:11between her and her mum?
05:12Absolutely.
05:13Because I think she's just, the only person she trusts at the minute is Ellie, because
05:17Ellie went through the same thing.
05:18And I think that's why she got so involved with Ellie and Damon when she was ready to
05:23move on, because it happened to her a lot, you know, it was a while ago.
05:27So Holly's just, it's only just happened.
05:29And it's also really raw.
05:31And when a mum then believes Dirk, it's like, well, okay, so my mum doesn't believe me.
05:37Ellie is the only person that's believing her.
05:39And I think she's just doing that to be supportive.
05:42She feels so alone that I think the one person she needed to be there was a mum.
05:47And she, she's not there.
05:48So I think it can really ruin the relationship for her and Cindy.
05:53Yeah.
05:53And at the moment, she's got no suspicion of Milo at all, has she?
05:58Or is there anything in the future that might stir, like either maybe Milo's guilt or any
06:04suspicions that stir within Holly that might change her view of that at all?
06:08Well, I think so far, Holly's been very, has warmed well to Milo.
06:13I think she really gets on with him.
06:15He's been a great lodger and there's no reason to be suspicious of him.
06:20But then there is some episodes where Tom gets a bit suspicious of Milo and says to Holly,
06:29look, there's something not right here.
06:31And he starts going through all of his things in his bedroom.
06:33And at first, Holly's sort of like, what are you doing?
06:37Uncle.
06:39And just doesn't, he's sort of like, oh, you're being daft.
06:43Like, come on, stop going through his things.
06:45It's a bit, you know, you're evading his privacy.
06:47And then Tom finds this ID of Milo and it's got a different name on it.
06:54So Holly is like, okay, weird.
06:58Maybe there's an explanation.
06:59And then Milo finds them and kicks off.
07:02It's really like, you know, pushes them out of the room and is really upset.
07:06And then Holly's a bit suspicious then.
07:09I won't tell you what happens after that.
07:12But that's the only time she's been a bit like, why have you got a different name?
07:17So she's a bit suspicious then.
07:20But not before then, no.
07:21And just kind of finally, how do you think that Holly and the rest of the Cunninghams are going to
07:26react when the truth does come up about Milo and obviously what he's been hiding from them?
07:33I think it's going to be quite interesting because they trust him so much, especially Cindy.
07:39Cindy's got this really nice relationship with Milo and she starts to put a lot, tells him a lot.
07:45And he's had a few sob stories, really, that he's told Cindy and he's told Holly and Tom that they
07:51believe.
07:53And he's been living in the house and seems so nice and like he wouldn't hurt a fly.
08:00So although certain things go wrong, if they find out what he's actually done, I think they would be so
08:06freaked out that he's been there that whole time.
08:10It's such a big thing, especially for Cindy.
08:14I think for Holly, it's her grandparents, but she obviously didn't spend as much time with her grandparents as Cindy
08:21spent with her parents.
08:22So I think it's going to be a shocker.
