00:00The head of the UN Nuclear Watchdog says international inspectors will visit Iran's enrichment sites,
00:06a key part of the interim deal between Washington and Tehran, to end the war.
00:12The comments from Rafael Grossi are the strongest yet from the IAEA,
00:16which plays a central role in monitoring Iran's nuclear program.
00:24This has been signed, has been agreed.
00:28Paragraph 8 of this Memorandum of Understanding says explicitly that the nuclear activities that are going to be carried out
00:41with regards to the nuclear material facilities will be supervised by the IAEA in all letters.
00:53Obviously, to do that, we will have to inspect.
01:10The comments come as the US and Iran offer contradictory versions of when access will begin.
01:17Earlier, Iran denied claims by US Vice President J.D. Vance that it agreed to allow nuclear inspectors
01:23back into the country following talks with Washington.
01:26The Iran has blocked full inspections since the 2025 12-day war with Israel,
01:31limiting the agency's ability to track its uranium stockpile.
01:35The deal with US requires Iran to dilute its highly enriched uranium under international supervision.
