00:15because there's been a lot of talk about gen z not drinking as much as generations before them
00:23that's where i thought i was confused by what you were saying so i was like i feel like gen
00:27z is not
00:27they're not drinking as much but they're drinking more intentionally and so instead of a nightcap
00:33they're going for a day cap which sounds like it's going to lead you into drinking even more
00:39because they're starting those cocktails earlier in the day so rather than finishing your night
00:44with a cocktail and then going to bed right they're calling it a day they're finishing their day and
00:51before they move into the second part of their day the evening part they're having a day cap
00:57one cocktail socially and then they move on wow i like this as i've gotten older i prefer
01:05a drink while the sun is up as opposed to when the sun is down because i sleep poorly if

01:10alcohol in my system i wake up sometimes even after one drink feeling slightly hung over it's funny
01:17because all the studies show that but it's still you still think but oh that drink it relaxes me it
01:23makes me calm it makes me sleepy but you're right once you might fall asleep quickly but then once
01:28you're asleep you know like you're waking up and it could be a fitful a fitful night's sleep so this

01:41is kind of skipping out on happy hour at the bar right and doing happy hour at a friend's house

01:53and have a drink yeah and then you guys can go home go home and binge watch love island was
