01:10reaction to how you feel about this arizona state university is launching a bachelor's degree
01:15in content creation giving students a chance to study social media video production podcasting and
01:22digital audience growth the program combines traditional communications courses with influencer
01:27focused classes including a hands-on project where students build a social media account
01:32and grow a real audience very interesting now maddie goes to syracuse which is number one
01:39communication school in the country no big deal but um what do you think about this major i think
01:45that this is actually super cool and i think that they are doing something right with this because
01:50you know we're seeing like an ever-changing world where social media is getting so popular right and
01:55syracuse is kind of doing something similar with the creator economy center that they just put in that's
01:59right so they're having classes we don't have a major for that yet but they're doing classes in the
02:04same kind of thing and i think i mean everywhere you go there's social media every kind of business
02:09has yeah there's it there's a need for it so i think that people studying it is like a great
02:14idea you
02:14know maddie brings up a good point there because i know we use the word that everybody gets annoyed
02:18with which is influencer yeah i don't love it but but it's not your you bring up a good point

02:23the businesses because like imagine being in the workplace and starting out at a job and being like
02:27hey like i can help grow this business's social media presence yeah which then would lead to more
02:34and more you know leads and more money and more dollars the world has changed a lot so when you

02:39aside the whole influencer world this actually could be really beneficial like we could use it
02:45around our office too definitely maybe they have a um donnie you finished your bachelor's degree right
02:50yeah okay just my college does no longer exist right it was but hey you got that degree you got
