00:00Parti Bersama Malaysia has announced plans to contest 15 seats in the Joho state election.
00:06The party said a majority of the targeted seats were won by Barisan Nacional in the
00:11last state election.
00:12Bersama said it selected the seats based on voter demographics and voting trends identified
00:18through surveys conducted over the past six months.
00:21The party also took into account its current level of support when deciding where to field
00:27candidates.
00:27Bersama said membership figures and feedback from local members helped shape its seat
00:33selection strategy.
00:35The 15 seats include Makota, Putri Wangsa, Joho Jaya, Skudai, Kota Iskandar, Bukit Batu and
00:42Senai.
00:43Earlier today, Bersama leader Rafizi Ramli said 73 individuals had offered themselves as
00:49candidates.
00:50He said a short list will be announced on Friday.
