09:17of the day
09:17that is a great idea
09:19then the children can show their parents the pictures when they come and pick them up this afternoon
09:23oh no that wouldn't be any good the pictures wouldn't be ready in time for this afternoon
09:28oh that's a shame still i'm sure they would like something to remind them of the first puddle walk

12:25then i asked miss holey if i could take the children on a puddle walk
12:29she agreed but thought i should buy a pair of wellingtons to keep my feet dry
12:34i tried on some wellingtons at penny and susie's shop
12:38susie thought it would be a good idea for the children to remember the puddle walk
12:41by painting a picture of their favorite puddle
12:45unfortunately penny had already sold all the sketchbooks they had
12:51that's because i bought them all yesterday
12:52you did great well could you spare some for the children to use
12:57oh isn't it a bit wet to be painting pictures outside

13:43one two three
13:46go callum
13:48go
14:01instead of taking a sketchbook along on the walk
14:03i thought they could take along a bag
14:05to help collect up things
14:06that will remind them of the puddles they splashed in
14:09on the puddle walk
14:10and then when they get back to the nursery
14:12they can stick the things they collect onto a poster
14:14a poster with their name and their footprint
14:17brilliant idea spencer

16:36Oh, the children had a really great time
16:39and I'm sure they'll remember the puddle walk for a long time to come.
16:48So, what was the story in Balamori today?
16:55Well, PC Plum popped in and helped me solve the mystery of the muddy footprints.
17:01He told me that he wanted to take the children on a puddle walk.
17:05I told him that he should buy himself a pair of Wellingtons before splashing in any puddles.
17:10He bought some Wellies from Penny and Susie's shop.
17:14Susie thought it would be a good idea for the children to paint pictures to remind them of their puddle
17:19walk.
17:21PC Plum went to visit Spencer to see if he had any sketch pads that the children could use.
17:27Spencer thought it was too wet to paint outdoors.
17:31He had the idea to make footprint posters to remind the children of the puddle walk they had had.
17:39And that was the story in Balamori.
17:48Oh dear! Not more muddy mysteries.
17:53Ah, this is easier to solve.
17:57Do you know who these belong to?
18:04That's right, they're mine.
18:07I must remember to clean these up tomorrow.
18:11I'll see you soon.
