04:50Hello everyone
04:51Hi Archie
04:54Have you got something there Archie?
04:56I certainly have
05:00Right
05:06It's an old ship's anchor
05:08What do you think of that?
05:11Well, erm, it's very nice
05:14What are you going to do with it?
05:16Er, I thought we could do something fun with it
05:18We went to the sand dunes later
05:19But what will you do with an old anchor?
05:21I don't know, play a game or something?
05:23Oh, what about, erm, hunt the anchor?
05:26I think it might be a bit hard to hide an anchor
05:29Hmm, well I'm sure we can do something
05:32Well, I know
05:33Why don't you go and see PC Plum?
05:35He knows all about boats and sailing
05:37Miss Hooley, that is a splendiferous idea
05:40Plummers is bound to know everything there is to know about ships' anchors
05:43I'll go and see them straight away
05:45Toodlepip
05:47Oh, don't be too long
05:48The MacLeod family will be here any minute
05:51I won't
05:51Bye-bye
05:52See you later
05:56So, which coloured house do you think Archie will visit for us today?
06:02Can you see all the different coloured houses sitting by the sea?
06:08Well, there's part of the story in Bala Moria
06:11Which is the house for me?
06:14Is it yellow?
06:15Is it pink?
06:17Is it orange?
06:18What do you think?
06:19Is it red, green, blue or white?
06:22Which coloured house do you think is right?
06:25Yellow house, orange house, blue, pink or white?
06:31Green house, red house, which do you think is right?
06:42Which coloured house are we going to?
06:45Tell me what do you think?
06:48Which coloured house are we going to?
06:50Tell me what do you think?
06:54It's the white house!
06:57Yes, it's the white house
06:58Because that's where PC Plum lives
07:01Right, if I tie a sheepside knot
07:04And then a reef knot
07:05A sailor went to see, see, see
07:08To see what he could see, see, see
07:10Oh!
07:12Hello Archie!
07:13Plumbers?
07:14Oh, ropes, eh?
07:16I suppose you need ropes for a boat
07:18Yep
07:18Ah, sailor stuff, eh?
07:20You can't beat it
07:21Oh, for a life on the ocean wave
07:23Well, if it's a life on the ocean wave you're looking for
07:26Why don't you help me out with my ship knots?
07:28Aye aye, captain
07:29Um, what do I do?
07:31Well, um, if you put your finger there
07:35Ow!
07:36Oh, oh, oh, oh!
07:37I'm sorry Archie
07:38Oh dear
07:40Not to worry Plumbers
07:41My fault entirely
07:42Us landlubbers, eh?
07:44But
07:44Oh!
07:49What do you think of this?
07:51Aha!
07:51What do we have here?
07:53It's an anchor
07:54I thought you'd have known that, Plumbers
07:56Yes, I know it's an anchor Archie
07:58I was just looking to see what sort of anchor
08:00Oh, gotcha
08:01It looks as if it's been in the bottom of the sea for a long time
08:05Gosh!
08:05How old is it?
08:07Could it have come from a pirate ship?
08:10Maybe, Archie
08:11Alright
08:12What would this ship have looked like?
08:13Well, um
08:15Maybe like
08:16This
08:17I see
08:18Like an old sailing boat
08:19So where would it be now?
08:21Most likely at the bottom of the sea
08:23You mean a shipwreck?
08:25An old ship that sunk a long time ago?
08:27Yep
08:27Oh
08:28I wish I could show the wreck to Christopher and Shannon McCloud
08:30When we go to visit the sand dunes
08:31That won't be very likely, I'm afraid
08:33The ship will be at the bottom of the sea
08:35Oh yes
08:36What a shame
08:38But why don't you make your own underwater wreck
08:41Like on the sand?
08:42That's a brilliant idea
08:43We could use my anchor
08:46What's it like at the bottom of the sea, plumbers?
08:48I don't know
08:49I usually sail on top of the sea
08:52How can I build a wreck at the bottom of the sea if I don't know what it's like down
08:55there?
08:55Oh yes
08:57Well, there's only one person who would know what it's like at the bottom of the sea
09:01Someone that's been all around the world and done all sorts of amazing things
09:04Exactly
09:05And has been out and about with her video camera

10:51Hello, Edie
10:52Oh, hello
10:54Horton Film Director work, eh?
10:56Mm-hmm
10:58That looks a good bit
11:00Archie, this videotape is broken
11:02And I am trying to mend it
11:05Try good
11:10Oh, so what's the story in Ballamory?
11:15Well...
11:18I went to the cafe to meet Miss Hooley
11:20Because we were going on a trip to the sand dunes with the McLeods
11:24I showed her an anchor because I thought we could use it for a game at the sand dunes
11:28Miss Hooley wasn't so sure but suggested I ask Plumbers because he knows all about those
11:34I helped Plumbers with his knots and then showed him the anchor
11:37He told me it was very old and from a sailing ship that must have been wrecked and sunk to
11:41the seabed
11:42Maybe even a pirate ship
11:45I really wanted to show the wreck to the children but it's at the bottom of the sea
11:48And so Plumbers gave me the idea of making our own underwater wreck in the sand
11:54So, I was wondering if you've ever been to the bottom of the sea?
11:58Of course I have, you silly sausage
12:00I have been scuba diving in the Red Sea
12:05Look!
12:08This is a picture of me in my scuba diving outfit
12:13Crumbs!
12:14Oh, you should see it down there Archie
12:16You swim past all these beautiful coloured fish
12:21And the seaweed waving around
12:24Amazing! Tell me more!
12:26I can do better than that
12:28I can show you
12:30I have a video here
12:33Of one of my scuba diving expeditions
12:39There!
12:45Oh, it's another world underwater
12:48Shoals of colourful fish swim to and fro
12:56Sometimes you might see a shark gliding by
13:03There's an octopus on the sea floor
13:05With its eight wavy arms and legs
13:11Crabs scurry around
13:14And you sometimes see the odd lobster
13:19You never know what you might find under the sea
13:23Maybe a wreck of a ship from long, long ago
13:33Well, terrific!
13:34Now I know exactly what it's like at the bottom of the sea
13:36We can have a fantastic time building our underwater wreck
13:39Right, well, see you later
13:41Bye Archie!
13:56Where's a good spot to build our wreck?
13:58Down there!
13:59Oh, well spodding ships made!
14:01Right, come on everybody!
14:03Let's go.
14:58Let's go.
15:18Let's go.
15:46Let's go.
15:47There's a claw, there's a claw, there's a claw on the crab on the anchor on the wreck in the
15:52hole in the bottom of the sea.
15:54There's a nip from the claw on the crab on the anchor on the wreck in the hole in the
15:58bottom of the sea.
16:03There's a nip, there's a nip, there's a nip.
16:10Oh, what a great day out. Thanks, Archie.
16:27So, what was the story in Balamori today?
16:34Well, I was waiting for the McLeod family in the cafe, ready to go on our trip to the sand
16:39dunes, when Archie arrived and showed me an old anchor.
16:44He found it on the beach and wanted to use it to play an exciting game at the sand dunes.
16:50But he couldn't think of any games, so he went to ask PC Plum because he knows all about boats.
16:57Archie helped PC Plum with his knots and then showed him the anchor.
17:02PC Plum examined it and told Archie it was very old and from a sailing ship that must have been
17:08wrecked and sunk to the bottom of the sea.
17:11PC Plum suggested that Archie could build his own underwater wreck in the sand.
17:18Ede showed Archie a video she'd made and he learned all about being at the bottom of the sea.
17:25We all went to the sand dunes and had a brilliant time making our own wreck with Archie's anchor.
17:35And that was the story in Balamori.
17:38I bet you see lots of old wrecks at the bottom of the sea every day, don't you Mrs Crab?
17:44And I'll see you soon.
17:46Bye!
