03:34Doves
03:35They're called doves, aren't they?
03:37That was a great one
03:38So there was two of every animal, and they went into the ark two by two.
03:44Oh! Did you hear that sound?
03:49That was a strange noise. Oh, there's again. I wonder what that can be.
03:57Oh, there's another sound.
04:03Sounds like we have a visitor. Maybe they can tell us what the strange sound is.
04:09Back in a sec. I don't know.
04:18Hello there. Hello, everyone.
04:23Hi, PC Plum. I'm so glad that you popped in. I've got a mystery for you to solve.
04:27Oh, how exciting. Well, lead me to the scene of the crime.
04:30I don't think we should upset the children.
04:33Oh, yes, of course. We better remain calm. Shall we go into your office?
04:39So, what's the problem?
04:42It's a noise.
04:43A noise? What sort of noise?
04:45Well, it's a sort of tapping noise. Yes, like this.
04:54It could be a woodpecker.
04:55No, because it's in here.
04:59Oh, it's in here.
05:01Oh. It sounds like it could be a wet sort of noise.
05:07Is it your tap?
05:08No, it's not the tap.
05:10Oh. Oh, yeah, look. It sounds like it's coming from...
05:15Oh, shh! Be very quiet, everyone.
05:18It sounds like it's coming from... somewhere.
05:23Oh.
05:25Here. Found it. Oh, dear.
05:28Oh, I just need something to put under the drip.
05:31This will do it.
05:32There.
05:37I know what the noise is, Miss Wooley.
05:39You've got a leak in your roof.
05:40Oh, no.
05:42I think we ought to get in touch with the McKinnons roofers.
05:45I saw them at Pocket and Suites earlier this morning.
05:47Oh, really?
05:47Well, and the pover there and tell them about it.
05:50Oh, would you? Oh, you're a star.
05:52I'll see you later, Miss Wooley.
05:53Bye.
05:54So, which coloured house do you think P.C. Plum will visit first today?
06:05Can you see all the different coloured houses sitting by the sea?
06:11Well, there's part of the story in Ballymore
06:14He asks, which is the house for me?
06:17Is it yellow? Is it red?
06:20Or should we go to the greenhouse instead?
06:23Red, white, orange, blue or pink?
06:26Or which coloured house do you think?
06:29Blue house, yellow house, orange house or red?
06:34White house, green or pink?
06:37Or which coloured house do you think?
06:46Which coloured house are we going to?
06:48Tell me, what do you think?
06:51Which coloured house are we going to?
06:54Tell me, what do you think?
06:56It's the red house!
06:59Yes, it's the red house, because that's where Penny and Susie live.
07:09Oh, hello Susie. Hello Penny.
07:12Is Mr McKinnon still here?
07:14Hello, P.C. Plum.
07:15I'm afraid you've just missed Mr McKinnon.
07:18It's the way to mend another roof.
07:19It was so windy yesterday that everyone's had roof tiles blown up.
07:24And the rain's come in everywhere.
07:26Oh dear.
07:27Well, it's mended here now, but the leak's left a real mess.
07:31Everything's soggy.
07:33Mind your food, please?
07:34Oh.
07:35Oh dear.
07:38Do you know where Mr McKinnon's gone now?
07:40He said he was going home for a tea break.
07:42Well, can you get a message to him to go to the nursery, please?
07:45Oh dear, has the nursery sprung a leak too?
07:48Oh, yes, of course I'll cancel on the message.
07:51Oh, look at these soggy cards. Soaked to a pulp.
07:56Shall I squeeze them out?
07:57Oh, okay.
07:58Oh, gently does it.
08:02P.C. Plum, a clean floor.
08:04Oh, well, there you are, Penny.
08:08I don't think that worked.
08:09No, well, I can see that you're busy, so I'll just...
08:12P.C. Plum, now look what you've done.
08:16I'm sorry, but I'd best be off.
08:19Oh, could I borrow that bucket?
08:22The bucket?
08:23Yes, for the drips.
08:24Oh, here you are.
08:28Now, shoo!
08:29Oh, thank you. And don't forget to call McKinnon's.
08:35What causes the most chaos? A leak?
08:37Or P.C. Plum?
08:51Noah sent a dove to look for dry land.
08:54But...
08:55The dove returned with a twig in its beak and the flood ended.
08:59Everyone was happy.
09:00Oh, look. Hello, P.C. Plum.
09:03Back in the second one.
09:10I brought you a bucket for the leaks.
09:12Oh, thank you.
09:13But I think I'll need more than one bucket.
09:14There's rain coming in everywhere.
09:16Oh, no. Not more leaks.
09:18I'm afraid so. Are the roofers on their way?
09:20No, not yet. There are lots of people with leaking roofs to mend.
09:23Oh, but what about the children? It's so wet in here.
09:26We're going to have to evacuate the building.
09:28Leave the building? Oh, that sounds serious.
09:31It is serious. Look, we need somewhere warm and dry to take the children to.
09:35I know. You could all come to my house until the roof is fixed.
09:38That's an excellent idea. Let's go.
09:40Oh, but we can't take the children outside in the rain. They'll get soaked.
09:43Hmm. There's only one thing for it. Edie MacReady.
09:47Oh, of course. Edie will help us with her bus.
09:50I'll go and see Edie.
10:01I'm Edie MacReady. I love to drive. Hop aboard my bus. Enjoy the ride.
10:08Doors are open. So step inside. It's the day to have some fun.
10:14Plenty of room for everyone when I honk my horn.
10:19Step inside. Step inside.
10:24Now if you can't sit still, then hold on tight.
10:27We're rolling down the room.
10:30If there's traffic, ding-a-ling. Got a song we love to sing.
10:34Rolling down the room.
10:37If you need to find somewhere, I can take you there.
10:44Been to places that you'll never know.
10:47From the hot desert sand to the cold arctic snow.
10:50When I honk my horn, step inside.
10:54Step inside.
10:56If something breaks, it doesn't matter. I can fix it with my spanner.
11:00We'll be rolling down the road.
11:03If the tires are looking flat, I can fix them just like that.
11:06We're rolling down the road.
11:10Anything I can mend.
11:12I'll be just around the bend.
11:15Just for Edie.
11:17Call on Edie. Edie McCready.
11:19Edie McCready.
11:20Call on Edie. Edie McCready.
11:22Just call Edie.
11:29Right, now I've got my waterproof. I wonder if I'll need my wellingtons.
11:34Hello, plummy.
11:35Tell me, is it still raining?
11:37It certainly is. It's pouring.
11:39Oh, great.
11:40Oh, I'm so looking forward to my wet weather walk.
11:44Oh, can't wait to go splashing around in the puddles.
11:47Yes, Edie. I need your help. It's an emergency.
11:50What? An emergency?
11:52So, what's the story in Balamori?
11:54Well, it all started with the rain.
11:59I popped into the nursery to get out of the wet,
12:01and Miss Hooley had a mystery for me to solve.
12:04She could hear a strange tapping noise.
12:06Of course, with my detector skills, I located the source of the noise.
12:11It was water dripping through the roof.
12:13I knew McKinnon's roofers were mending the roof at Pocket & Suites,
12:17but when I got there, the roofers had just left.
12:20Everything was in a terrible mess with water everywhere.
12:23When I got back to the nursery, there were leaks everywhere and no sign of the roofers.
12:28So, we decided to evacuate the children to Miss Hooley's house, where it's warm and dry.
12:35We can't take the children out in the pouring rain.
12:37We need transport to get them to Miss Hooley's house.
12:40Don't worry. It'll be Edie to the rescue.
12:44I'll take the children to Miss Hooley's house and keep them dry there.
12:47Oh, that's wonderful, Edie.
12:48Are you not coming with me?
12:50Oh, no, no. I have to go and find the roofers. I'll see you later.
13:05All aboard, Edie's Ark!
13:09The animals went in two by two. Hurrah! Hurrah!
13:14The animals went in two by two. Hurrah! Hurrah!

13:47ark
13:47for to get out of the rain. The animals went in four by four.
13:54Hurrah! Hurrah! The animals went in four by four. Hurrah! Hurrah!
14:01The animals went in four by four. The great hippopotamus stuck in the door and they all went into the
14:08ark
14:08for to get out of the rain. The animals went in five by five. Hurrah! Hurrah!
14:17The animals went in five by five. Hurrah! Hurrah!

15:20Give ourselves a big
15:24Oh, back in a sec
15:26Play with the ark
15:28Hello Miss Hooley
15:30Hello PC Plum
15:32Oh, welcome to the Balamori Nursery Ark
15:35Oh, the roofers are at the nursery mending the roof
15:37Oh, that's wonderful
15:39And I believe it stopped raining
15:41Oh, look and the sun has come out
15:44We could all walk back to the nursery
15:45And see how the roofers are getting on
15:47That's a good idea Miss Hooley
15:58Keep your umbrella down, good boy
16:02Oh, look up on the roof
16:04Look at that
16:05Hi Miss Hooley
16:05That's your roof mending
16:06Oh, thank you so much

16:11Not at all
16:12I couldn't have done it without Edie either
16:20What an adventure
16:22So, what was the story in Balamori today?
16:26Well
16:29It was a very wet day
16:33While I was telling the children the story of Noah and his ark
16:37I heard a strange tapping noise
16:40PC Plum investigated
16:43And found that the roof was leaking
16:46The roofers were working at Pocket and Suites
16:50But when PC Plum got there to ask them to mend the nursery roof
16:54They had gone
16:55And Susie and Penny were busy clearing up the mess
16:59By the time PC Plum got back to the nursery
17:02The roof was leaking in lots of places
17:05We decided to evacuate the children to my house
17:08But it was raining so much that we needed some transport
17:13Edie agreed to drive everyone to my house
17:15The children and I had a great time singing
17:18The animals went in two by two
17:21Then the sun came out
17:24We all walked back to the nursery
17:25To find the roofers mending the roof
17:30And that was the story in Balamori
17:32Well, at least we didn't need to go in the ark
17:35I'll put this back in the cupboard
17:37You never know, we might need it again one day
17:43Uh-oh, sounds like the rain's back on
17:47Well, at least we'll be drying the nursery
17:48Now that the roof was mended
