00:00When Asha Sharma took over as Xbox CEO in February, a lot of people were concerned about what her
00:05history as the former president of Microsoft's Core AI product would mean for the gaming platform.
00:09Well, in a move that surprised a lot of people, Asha has come out and effectively ended co-pilot
00:13integration into the Xbox platform alongside mobile. In a message posted on X, Asha states,
00:19Xbox needs to move faster, deepen our connection with the community, and address friction for both
00:23players and developers. She continues, as part of this shift, you'll see us begin to retire
00:27features that don't align with where we're headed. We will begin winding down co-pilot
00:31on mobile, and we'll stop development of co-pilot on console. Asha has only been in the role a few
00:36short months, but seems to be doing everything to course correct the Xbox brand. From the removal
00:40of co-pilot, renaming Microsoft gaming back to Xbox, updates to achievements, shittering the contentious
00:45this is an Xbox campaign, and the biggest one of all, lowering the price of Game Pass across multiple
00:49tiers, there is a lot of work being done in a fast amount of time to improve Xbox in the
00:54eyes of core
00:55fans. What do you think of these recent Xbox changes?
