01:14Here is Miss Julia to tell us that story
01:16But how does it all begin?
01:18Is it raining, sunny, windy, cloudy,
01:21Playing outside the rim?
01:23Is today to stay at home to play?
01:25Going to school or nursery?

01:29Wouldn't you like to know?
01:31What's the story in Bala Mori?
01:33Tell us where we will go!
01:39Oh, hi there. Nice to see you.
01:43So, what's the story in Bala Mori?
01:47Well, today in Bala Mori, it's a windy day.
01:55And everyone here is busy going to work and school.
02:02So, I wonder what adventures we'll get up to today?
02:08Would you listen to that wind outside?
02:11Oh, that's pretty.
02:15Look at all the patterns inside.
02:17Do you know what it is?
02:20Well, it's a paperweight.
02:23You use it to hold down pieces of paper so they don't blow away.
02:27Look.
02:33There.
02:34Now my papers won't blow away if someone opens the door and lets all the wind in.
02:40Ah.
02:41There's the school bus.
02:42I wonder who will be coming to the Bala Mori nursery today.
02:47There's Leah.
02:48It's Amina.
02:50It's Clee.
02:51Hi, Troy.
02:53Hello, Robbie.
02:54And who else, I wonder?
02:56And you.
02:57Join in the fun, too.
03:01Everybody, everyone, come inside and join the fun.
03:08Listening.
03:09Laughing.
03:10Watching.
03:10Thinking.
03:11Copying.
03:12Diggling.
03:13Make a funny face.
03:15Everybody, everyone, come inside and join the fun.
03:21I'm Stefan and me.
03:23Now, do you know what these are called?
03:25Windmills.
03:26Windmills.
03:26Good boy.
03:27That's it.
03:28I need to give them a big, big blow.
03:36Oh, what you don't make yourself too dizzy.
03:45Oh, I think we have a visitor coming.
03:48I wonder who it can be.
03:49I'll just go and see.
03:51Back in a sec.
03:54Hi, Miss Hilly.
03:55Oh, hi, Spencer.
03:56Thanks for dropping by.
03:57It was my pleasure.
03:59Hi, guys.
04:00Hi, Spencer.
04:02Hey, what are you up to?
04:04Windmills.
04:05Windmills, eh?
04:06Oh, I remember playing with these when I was a kid.
04:11Cool.
04:12Look at them whizzing around there.
04:15Well, you picked the right day to play.
04:17Boy, is it windy out there.
04:18Isn't it just?
04:19Watch this.
04:24So, what did you want to see me about, Miss Hilly?
04:26Well, I had an idea to paint a new mural for the nursery wall.
04:30To brighten the place up a bit.
04:31Well, then I'm your man.
04:33Do you have any ideas of what you want it to be?
04:35Yes, I do.
04:37I thought that this might be fun.
04:40Hey.
04:41Hey, this looks kind of familiar.
04:43Do I know it?
04:44I hope so.
04:46That's where you live.
04:48Of course.
04:49It's a view of Balamori.
04:50Hey, that's a great idea for a mural.
04:53So, how big do you want it to be?
04:54Well, I thought that the mural could be this size?
04:59This big.
05:01Or even this big?
05:03This big?
05:05Or maybe even this big.
05:08This big?
05:10Yes.
05:10Um, well, I'll pop home right now and start painting your picture of Balamori.
05:17Right.
05:19Oh.
05:20Whoops.
05:23See ya.
05:27So, which coloured house do you think Spencer will visit first today?
05:39Can you see all the different coloured houses sitting by the sea?
05:44Well, this part of the story in Balamori asks which is the house for me?
05:50Is it green?
05:52Is it red?
05:53Or should I go to the white house instead?
05:56Yellow, pink?
05:58Orange or blue?
05:59Which coloured house am I going to?
06:02Green house?
06:04Red house?
06:05Orange or pink?
06:08Yellow house?
06:09Blue or white?
06:10Tell me, what do you think?
06:13It's the orange house!
06:15It's the orange house!
06:16Because that's where I live!
06:20Okay.
06:21Now to find a large piece of paper.
06:26Let's see.
06:29Um...
06:29Small.
06:30Small.
06:31Small.
06:34What did Miss Hooley say?
06:36Oh, yes.
06:37First she wanted a picture this big.
06:40Then she wanted a picture this big.
06:42Then she wanted a picture this big.
06:46Oh, no.
06:48None of my paper's large enough.
06:50What's the solution?
06:53I know.
06:54I'll go see Archie.
06:55Yeah, he's full of good ideas.
07:00Better take this to show Archie.
07:08All ready for your daily oiling, Nobby?
07:10Good show.
07:11Onto the arms first, I think.
07:13Hope this doesn't tickle.
07:14Yes.
07:16Archie!
07:17Oh, hello Spencer.
07:18Arms up.
07:20Archie, I don't need oiling.
07:22You sure?
07:22Got any squeaky parts?
07:24Mm-mm.
07:26Fair point.
07:27Well, what's up?
07:28Well, Miss Hooley wants me to paint a mural for the nursery wall.
07:31Oh, I see.
07:32I see.
07:33It's a big mural.
07:34And I only have small pieces of paper.
07:36Hmm.
07:37So, what do I do?
07:39Hmm.
07:40It seems to me that you have what we inventors call a technical hitch.
07:45I do?
07:46How big is your piece of paper?
07:49How big is your piece of paper?
07:49It's this big.
07:53Hmm.
07:55How big's the mural?
07:57Well, it started out this big.
08:00Mm-hmm.
08:01And then it got this big.
08:02Mm-hmm.
08:03And then it got this big.
08:05Hmm.
08:07So...
08:08It's pretty big.
08:10Archie, I know that.
08:11But how do I put it on my small pieces of paper?
08:14Hmm.
08:15Seems to me that you need to make all of your small pieces of paper into one huge, big piece
08:20of paper.
08:20I know!
08:22Right.
08:23Calm down, Spencer.
08:25These things take time.
08:28Now, what does Miss Hooley want you to do with the mural of this?
08:35Ah.
08:36Ah.
08:37Right.
08:38So...
08:39What we need to do...
08:42Is...
08:43This.
08:52Bit of fudgey.
08:54You're just drawing lines on the photograph.
08:56Exactly.
08:57I'm dividing the photo into small squares.
08:59Just like your small squares of paper.
09:01And how would that help me?
09:03Well, what you do is you copy each square of the photograph onto a separate square of your paper.
09:09Oh!
09:10And you join them together and make one big picture!
09:14Exactly.
09:16Great.
09:17Bye-bye.
09:18Thanks.
09:28Okay.
09:38I just need to paint each square that Archie drew onto a separate piece of paper.
09:44Okay.
09:44Okay.
09:59Finished.
10:01Now all I have to do is take all my pieces of paper to the nursery and join them together.
10:05There.
10:11Man!
10:12It's so windy today!
10:14Better get something to weigh these down.
10:20All set.
10:29So...
10:30How did you get on, Spencer?
10:31Just fine.
10:33Where's my big painting?
10:34Oh, it's not big yet.
10:35But it soon will be.
10:36I'll just get the pieces of paper.
10:40Quick, Missouly!
10:41Chase the paper!
10:42Well, um...
10:43Which way?
10:44Hey!
10:44You go that way.
10:44I'll go this way.
10:58Whoa!
11:02My paintings will be all over Balamori by now.
11:05I'll never get the rest of them back.
11:06I guess that's the end of my mural.
11:09Uh-huh.
11:09Unless we can ask somebody to help collect them.
11:11Well, it would need to be someone fit to be chasing around after all those bits of paper.
11:15Hmm.
11:16Who in Balamori is fit and energetic and would love to run around and do that?
11:22Josie Jump!
11:27Josie Jump is my name.
11:31Dancing and sport are my games.
11:35I'm always feeling rhythm.
11:37It jingles in my toes.
11:39It jingles through my body.
11:41Come on and have a go.
11:43Everybody try kicking.
11:45Everybody try bouncing.
11:47Everybody try throwing.
11:49Everybody try jumping.
11:51Sometimes I get the feeling.
11:53I want to jump up high.
11:55I've got to keep on running.
11:57So fast I'll think I'll fly.
12:00Everybody jump up a little higher.
12:02Wave your hands.
12:03Wave your hands.
12:04Jump up a little higher.
12:06Score!
12:07Go!
12:07Everybody try kicking.
12:09Everybody try bouncing.
12:11Everybody try throwing.
12:13Everybody try jumping.
12:16Sometimes I get the feeling.
12:18When getting near a hoop.
12:19The ball just keeps on bouncing.
12:22And then all loop, loop, loop.
12:24Everybody jump up a little higher.
12:26Wave your hands.
12:28Jump up a little higher.
12:31Wave your hands.
12:32Jump up a little higher.
12:35Wave your hands.
12:35Wave your hands.
12:36Jump up a little higher.
12:39Score!
12:39Go!
12:40Go!
12:41Josie Jump is my name.
12:44Dancing and sport are my games.
12:48I'm always feeling rhythm.
12:50It jingles in my toes.
12:52It jingles through my body.
12:55Come on, have a go.
13:01Josie!
13:02Oh!
13:02Quick!
13:03All gone!
13:04Whoosh!
13:04Everywhere!
13:05Emergency!
13:06Help!
13:06Spencer, Spencer, Spencer.
13:07Calm down.
13:08Okay.
13:10Okay.
13:10So what's the story in Balamori?
13:14Well...
13:16Miss Holey showed me a photo of Balamori.
13:19Then she asked me to paint a picture of it for the nursery wall.
13:23When I got home, I realized I only had small pieces of paper.
13:27So I went to see Archie.
13:28He divided up the photo of Balamori into small squares.
13:32He told me to paint each one on a small piece of paper, then join them all together.
13:36I painted the pieces of paper and loaded them into my trailer.
13:40I even weighted them down with a paint tin, because it was windy.
13:45But when I got to the nursery and lifted up the paint tin, the wind blew my paper away.
13:49Every piece!
13:50We couldn't catch them.
13:54Oh, I see!
13:55Yeah, they must have blown all over town by now.
13:58Hmm.
13:59Well, today sounds like a great day for a paper chase.
14:02Paper chase?
14:03Let's go!
14:04Come on!
14:13Okay, Spencer.
14:14You wait here, and I'll chase a piece of paper and bring them back to you, okay?
14:18Sounds good to me, Josie.
14:19Good luck!
14:54Any more pieces of paper, Spencer?
14:56Nope.
14:57That's the last one.
14:59You're a real star.
15:00Okay.
15:01I'm off Wall Swim.
15:03How does she do that?
15:06Well, better get these to the nursery.
15:16Look, everyone.
15:19See?
15:20Now I need another picture.
15:22Okay.
15:22Okay.
15:23Thank you, Mrs. Julie.
15:24That's the next...
15:26Does that go there?
15:28Yellow and red times.
15:29Yellow and red.
15:30That looks good.
15:32Yep.
15:32That's it.
15:33Right.
15:33Look at that.
15:34How many have we got so far?
15:36One.
15:37Two.
15:38Three.
15:39Three.
15:40Okay.
15:41What we need.
15:41This one's the big green one at the end, baby Spencer.
15:44Where's that?
15:45Where's that?
15:45Who's got this one?
15:46Adam's got it.
15:47Oh, well done, Adam.
15:48Okay, Sam.
15:49Where's that one?
15:50Where's that one?
15:51Where's that one?
15:51Where's that one?
15:53Right beside that place.
15:54Oh, that's there.
15:56Perfect.
15:56I wanted to.
15:58Together.
15:59See?
15:59Get that Spencer next, okay?
16:01Now you're talking about it.
16:02Thank you, Simone.
16:03Yeah.
16:04Sit down now.
16:05Sit down.
16:06What?
16:07Give that one to Spencer.
16:08Thanks, Simone.
16:10Oh, great.
16:11There.
16:11Perfect.
16:13Good.
16:14Now, we've got to look out.
16:15Is there a bit of boat in anyone's picture?
16:17Oh!
16:19Okay.
16:20In the corner.
16:20Is that right?
16:22I think.
16:23There.
16:23Try the other one.
16:24Yeah.
16:25Okay, give that up to Spencer, she needs.
16:27I'm not going to be the one.
16:29Yes, he's not.
16:30That looks just like this.
16:32Yeah.
16:32What?
16:33Do you want to talk about that up besides the Spencer?
16:36Yes, there we go.
16:37Look at that.
16:38Perfect.
16:40Ha ha.
16:49Oh, that was such fun.
16:52So, what was the story in Balamori?
16:56Well...
16:58It was a very windy day today.
17:02Spencer popped in and I showed him a photo of Balamori.
17:05I asked him to paint a really big picture of it for the nursery wall.
17:10But Spencer discovered that he only had small pieces of paper.
17:14So Archie showed him how to use lots of small pieces to make one big picture.
17:20Archie drew lines on the photo to make tiny squares.
17:24Then he told Spencer to paint each square onto a small piece of paper and then join them
17:29all together.
17:31So Spencer painted lots of small paintings and brought them round.
17:34But then the wind blew them away all over Balamori.
17:39Luckily Josie Jump was in the mood for a paper chase and managed to run around everywhere
17:44and find them.
17:45Every last piece.
17:47Which meant we could all help Spencer to join them together to make a brilliant new picture
17:52of Balamori on the nursery wall.
17:56And that was the story in Balamori today.
18:00This paperweight will come in handy the next time we have a windy day.
18:07There we go.
18:10And I'll see you very soon.
18:13Bye!
18:19Bye!
18:49Bye!
18:51Bye!
18:52Bye!
18:57Bye!
19:00Bye!
19:00Bye!
19:02Bye!
19:03Bye!
19:04Bye!
19:06Bye!
19:08Bye!
