00:00I thought the market today on our sale a fortnight ago was another 10 to 20 cents tier.
00:04Very good yarding of cattle right throughout. First run of steers we were selling two pens
00:08to the minute. That's how quickly we were getting through them and that just showed you ask a price
00:12and they were knocking them and stepping over themselves to the feedlot blokes and also the
00:17grass fatness as well. So people you know there was a good crowd of people here today and they
00:21come to buy. Everyone's wanting cattle, everyone wants to keep the feedlots full. They want a
00:25background cattle have them ready to go into feedlots but down the track and then you'll find
00:30that your grass fatness is starting to come into the equation as well. We're heading into our next
00:34probably couple cooler months so there's not the urgency for us to buy those cattle yet but get into
00:42the back end of August into September that could be a different story depending on what numbers
00:47as we say supply and demand so it just depends on what's out there what happens everywhere else to
00:52what numbers are about and where the supply and demand comes from. It's changed over the last few
00:57years of the quality of what we get through the yards here now. Like our first run 224 pens of
01:03cattle
01:03there all straight breed cattle, no steers and heifers. You wouldn't you wouldn't find too much
01:08better anywhere else just on a fortnightly sale.
