00:00You get a couple of consignments of cattle and and you can build other cattle around those
00:04which is what we've done naturally those two lots of cattle were only younger cattle
00:09sort of six seven eight months of age both both consignments one of steers one of heifers
00:14both places did have a handful of older cattle in as well on it but yeah you build cattle around
00:19it
00:20where people you know they'll sell some older cattle and come back in to try to buy some younger
00:24cattle again and you know thus have the margin in between yeah 500 kilo plus steers would be
00:30five dollars to sort of 5 20 or 30 feet of weight steers they would have pushed out to sort
00:35of 5 40
00:3650 maybe even 60 in places on the right cattle would be 10 to 20 cents here on a fortnight
00:41ago and the
00:42same in a heifer run um you know they're all chasing dare i say 400 kilo plus efforts to put
00:47on grain for
00:48a short period of time whether that means it's just a shortage there or there's going to be a shortage
00:52later on and then naturally to sell those people are coming back in you're buying those little
00:57calves that are only all the trt calves that are the lead pedal there are only 225 kilos uh made
01:031100
01:04and something dollars so that they basically you know they would average well over a thousand bucks
01:08and they'd be only you know they wouldn't average 200 kilos quite good money for those cattle
