00:00I used to be a big fan of his. I remember I was sitting in my dressing room. I had
00:04no assistant,
00:05nobody. It was just me. No mobile phones back in ages. Just, you know, when are they going to
00:08call me? And then there's a knock on the door and one of his band members is out there. It's
00:13like,
00:13hey man, the Reverend Brown wants to see you. I went to see the Reverend Brown and he talked to
00:18me a little bit, wished me good luck. And it's a wonderful memory, really. The sparring and the
00:22fight scenes in that movie still hold up. The sweat, the blood, the head movement. I heard that
00:27you put Sly Stallone in the hospital for five days. It wasn't six days. No, I think what happened
00:33was we were up in Vancouver, shot by for two weeks. And then when I got back to LA, the
00:37producer calls
00:38and says, hey, Dolph, you got a couple of weeks off. And I'm like, why? He's like, Sly's in the
00:42hospital. He had some kind of bruised heart muscle. He hit me too really hard. But you know, I was
00:4610
00:46years younger and I was bigger than him. So maybe he took more of a beating than me. Backstage Pass
